I really wanna know before learn wich kind of species they add them different currys they teach it well just for fun i learn but its useful

Although we really enjoyed the food we made with Madu, we cannot rate her class very high as she cancelled on us the first time and then never sent us the recipes by email as promised...

Food was delicious and the chef was nice and full of energy. We had a great time and will be trying those receipes at home!

The food was excellent but boy was the lesson quick. That woman smashed out 5 curries, a chutney and a sambol in less than an hour and then served us dinner at 4.45. It was just the 2 of us so that was a shame. Felt like she just wanted to get out of there. She made a quick $50 AU

Fabulous afternoon spent learning about preparation of SriLankan Curry’s - fabulous fun with a friendly warm hostess and a diverse group interested in Sri Lankan cuisine. Left feeling confident that we can prepare some Curry’s at home for an authentic Sri Lankan experience. We than sat and ate as a group the food we had prepared - fabulous fun 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wonderful fresh fish and other options available cooked by the lovely, welcoming, friendly and talented chef - great for travellers seeking a bit of Sri Lanka in a relaxed atmosphere.

A force de venir déguster les plats du Roti Shop (qui a un nom de pauvre Kebab mais qui est un très bon restaurant de Mirissa), on a envie d'apprendre à cuisiner le fameux Rice and Curry pour pouvoir le refaire chez soi !
Madu, comme au restaurant, est très souriante, les cours sont très accessibles (en anglais, tout de même), l'ambiance est conviviale... Courez, vous ne le regretterez pas !!! (surtout une fois rentré en France)
Le tout dure 2h, coûte 2500 Roupies par personne (13 euros) et se conclue par la dégustation de ce qui a été préparé.
Enjoy !

Came across this place and were invited to eat. The warm welcome we received from'Chef' was overwhelming. Partly Open restaurant able to watch food beig cooked. We had 'Butterfish' which was superb More than adequete portion. Kind attentive and friendly staff, Hold cookery course also. Off the main road so you will need to ask as not easy to find

Super moment pour cet après midi pluvieux..
Bon accueil, cours ludiques, très bien expliqués, recettes faciles à refaire chez soi !
Les 2h de cuisine passent très vite, on a cuisiné 6 plats qu'on a pu déguster ensuite (le meilleur rice and curry mangé au Sri Lanka)..
Petit plus, on cuisine avec des ustensiles traditionnels, une bonne expérience !
Bon accueil, cours ludiques, très bien expliqués, recettes faciles à refaire chez soi !

Par hasard vu l'étalage de poissons frais en passant sur cette rue, ce qui nous a attiré, et qu'elle bonne idée car ce fut notre meilleur repas en 30 jours au Sri Lanka. Ambiance décontractée, on voit le cuisinier apprêter notre poisson, ça sent bon l'ail, servi avec frites et salade, cela à bon prix. La propriétaire arrive et salue tout le monde avec un beau sourire. Tout était excellent, on avait aussi 4 crevettes aussi bonnes que le poisson qui était le vivaneau ou red snapper. Si vous allez à Marissa, allez y prendre un repas. Il y a aussi un buffet servi le soir.
