Excellent sea beach. Still it is serene beach. 1-2 night stay is ideal for it. There are so many nice hotels. Now Tajpur beach is very popular weekend destination.

The virgin beach far from the madding crowd of Digha !We stayed at La Macaw resort which served us excellent food , melt in the mouth mutton scrumptious crab curry and so many other Bengali delicacies.The staff was cordial and helpful , though the service was a little slow.The beach was just a five minutes walk and there were no body to disturb us there though it was the height of the tourist season , perhaps the water was a little muddy but it didn't prevent us from splashing about. We also successfully flew a kite standing in the windy shores

Much less crowded than Digha or Mondarmoni nearby. Has a quaint charm, with cute lagoons or small inlets in the beach. Not accessible from all areas though, as there are rocks and slush. High tides leave almost the entire beach flooded.
Convenient shacks are scattered on the beach that offer light refreshments and coconut water.
Don't compare with Goa, Puri or Vizag. This place still retains an old world charm.

We went just after low tide so there was much more land available to explore. It's really a wonderful place far away from the mishmash of New & Old Digha. Much less crowd, and limited stalls makes this cleaner and more open.
There are washroom facilities too - though we didn't use them they were frequently used by women so it can be assumed its clean.
There are many eateries; each offer coconut water, freshly caught seafood (crab, prawn, fish), desi-poultry. Some even offer alcohol on enquiry. If you're a cat lover, there are two well-behaved and adorable cats around who allow you to pet them even if you don't offer them leftovers.
There were quite a few shells visible on the beach so for a collector you might get lucky with rare ones.
There were resorts with villas lining the road to the beach for anyone with a large group who wants to spend time close to the sea unlike in Digha. But it's best to travel with your vehicle if availing these accommodations.

This beach is not ideal for bath but the scenic view is good. You can try different food here in small restaurants in beach.

If you want to avoid the crowds and still enjoy the bathing...if you have sea loving teenagers in your family ...this is the place. The place has a beautiful beach and you can see red crabs early in the morning. The beach is flanked by jhau trees, so most hotels are not on the beach. There is a park on the beach which according to me is an eyesore but that's my personal opinion. There is also a lighthouse worth visiting.

Unlike the series of beaches starting from mandarmani to gopalpur.....tajpur is much more cleaner, serene and less crowded. There area series of resort adjoining the beach and are almost affordable. The shacks located right in the beach are bingo and gives a goa feeling 😀 . While all of them sells beer @200 for tuborg strong(i guess illegally) and allows to booze in their premises provided that you take the snacks from them. A pair of pomfret or crabs @300. Country chicken 1 kg including preparation@400. Prawn pair @150. The fun is that they keep live fishes/crabs/chickens and freshly cooks them as u order, so u get a super fresh food. However offlate the same shack culture has stated in mandarmani also where the rates are cheaper (perhaps introductory offer). Tajpur seems very spinechilling after sunset. Highly recommended for a small visit

A pretty good and safe beach that is both wide and clean and having shacks that serve delicious steaming lunch comprising of Indian chicken, sea fish, crabs etc. cooked in a clean way and at a reasonable price. Red crabs swarm the broad beach lined with sand dunes. Easily approachable from Digha and Kharagpur but the road is in a bad shape. A big Car Parking area and Pay & Use Toilet available. During low tide the sea recedes two Kms. A few lodges and resorts have come up recently but not many tourists stay overnight.

This beach is not far away from the crowded beaches of Digha and now Shankarpur too. It is relatively untouched yet, mostly due to the bad road conditions. The place is developing fast with loads of resorts coming up. They have shacks on the beach offering crabs, fishes and beer. Gives it a hip look at night. The slope is very gradual making the sea ideal for bathing. Low intensity waves here. No lifeguards on duty. Can view both #sunrise and #sunset from here. Good place to visit with family and kids.

After Digha, the beach at Tajpur seemed so serene and peaceful. Clean stretches, no hawkers, very few bathers - it was a treat to be there. May not be the best beach for taking a swim, but definitely the place to just sit down and watch the sun set.
Highly recommended.

I don't think so.. Theres any such sport available on the beach of tajpur. Just enjoy the beauty of the beach n food👍😀😁
