Went with my two daughters. Maybe this was a park a few years ago but it was run down and seemed closed down as far as we could see. The place includes a small building of fish in tanks including terrapins housed in tanks hardly bigger than their shells.
Talking of shells, there is a shell display which maybe lasts 2-3 minutes. The only other two activities included being given a handful of fish food to feed the fish in the ponds and a visit to the emu. Very run down play ground which didn't seem safe and no refreshments which was all closed.
That's it ! Sorry but I would tell anyone to avoid this place.

The concept of the Fish World Aqua Tourism Village is something innovative and was really amazed to see the way they have arranged everthing. Facilities for canoeing, riding kutta vanchi, country boats etc in a pond, a butterfly park, aquarium for ornamental fishes, restaurant with several seafood items, good collection of aquatic plants, pet shop, variety of pigeons, loungers for resting by the side of the water, indoor games, museum ....all made the visit memorable. Next month we are planning to spent a day there with family.

It's a best place in vaikom.first up on we are go to vaikom we don't know about this fish world aqua tourism village.it's a must see location.it's suitable for all the people.There were different type of fish on there.it's a nice entertainment place.

The village actually practices the traditional methods. The whole area is strewn with natural herbs and medicines. Sh. Suresh, the main promoter would be keen to take you around and explain the benefits of each type of plant.

The place is ok and is crowded with lots of activities. I think they should add activities close to nature and add some thing which can teach values to kids regarding preserving nature. Snooker and trampoline in a village ambiance doesn't suite this place.

Shell museum, Birds, Fishes, Snooker, Cycling, Games and Park for children, Restaurant, New Venture they should be added more facilities...
