OK....Time to get real here!!! Let's start with this: My wife and I have almost 500 SCUBA dives each and have dived in 21 countries. So we have some experience on what a good/bad dive operation is.
Dockyard Diver's was hands down not only the worst dive operation we have ever experienced, but also the most dangerous!!! The boat that Tony picked us up in looked like it was 50 years old. There were no life jackets, no emergency dive kit....heck the bimini top was cobbled blue tarp!
But the boat made the SCUBA gear we were given look brand new. The gear looked to be 25 years old. Tattered, broken, and every hose and BCD leaked air. Not a little air! Pouring out of the equipment!!!!
When I went into the water and saw the extent of the equipment problems, I quickly surfaced and tried to tell Tony there was a huge issue with the gear. Tony just shrugged and said, "Don't be a sissy...it is fine!" I told him to "No chance I am diving with this dangerous gear." Tony switched the reg and gave me his. Tony's gear was slightly less broken and dangerous.
My wife and our friend who came along had similar problems with gear. Every tank had massive O ring problems....again not little bubbles!!
WE should have just aborted the dives but we knew we were shallow and could work through a disaster if one came up. During the surface interval, my wife asked Tony for a bottle of water. Tony said he was in a hurry this morning and didn't have any!!
I hate that I have to write this. But this is waaaaaay beyond just poor customer service. This is just plain dangerous!!!! After we were back on land the three of us divers all said that was the most dangerous dive we had ever done and that we should have aborted the dive as soon as we saw the equipment. It is that scary and dangerous!!!
Dockyard Divers needs to go out of business before they kill someone. Seriously, it is THAT bad.

Having been in Antigua for two weeks for work and I met Tony in the Bar-B’s restaurant (nice place friendly staff) - we got talking (what an extraordinary life this man has experienced) - Tony mentioned that he provided diving trips and it was an opportunity too good to miss.
Tony is a very experienced diver and while I had some nerves as it had been many years since my last dive, Tony reassured me and provided appropriate training. I was lucky enough to have one to one dive and felt completely safe throughout the whole dive with Tony regularly checking on my well being.
We dived The Pillars of Hercules at a depth of 12-15metres, it is a marvellous place with plenty of Sea life and I would urge anyone with the opportunity to do it.
Tony is a very experienced diver and while I had some nerves as it had been many years since my last dive, Tony reassured me and provided appropriate training. I was lucky enough to have one to one dive and felt completely safe throughout the whole dive with Tony regularly checking on my well being.

We had an amazing day with tony! He took us out to a dive site about a 5 minute boat ride from where the pickup location was and we saw such a wild array of sea life. We saw an octopus, a turtle, a couple barracuda, a moray eel and lots of stingray! He’s such a kind man and not once did we ever feel unsafe. It was one of the best dive trips we’ve done and we will for sure be back to experience another dive trip with Tony very soon!

I had one of my best dives ever at pillars of Hercules with Tony. Very patient and nice instructor. He knew the area like his pocket and I saw three turtles, one sting ray and a lots of different fishes that lives by the corals. Tony takes a lot of photographs with a very good camera. He send it to you at no charge. He had a lot if knowledge about the sea life in the area and it was just unlucky that I didn't see more extraordinary animals like the eagle ray.
This dives suits for everybody and he will give instructions after your level.
The nice thing is that he does the dives in small groups. It was only me and him and that was a much funnier experience than going on a diving trip with 10 other people.
Can recommend him at my strongest.

We have just returned form English Harbour and after asking around were recommended to dive with Tony. We had two fantastic dives with Tony off the pillars; he brought his camera and within a few hours of diving with him he'd sent us a selection of the photographs he had taken, which were brilliant. Tony has so much experience, he is extremely nice and we felt extremely comfortable diving with him. Thank you Tony, we'll be back!

We did two dives with Tony this week and they were great. Tony has logged more than 12,000 dives over many decades. He also brings along a professional camera and video camera, and he’s nice enough to send along all the photos and videos after the dive. We saw a couple of beautiful eagle rays. Tony is incredibly accommodating — he was able to have the boat and gear ready to go in less than 20 minutes— and he’s also extremely nice. Thanks, Tony!

Tony was very accommodating for our group of 4. 2 of us were divers and 2 were snorkelers. We did the pillars dive and saw large turtles and multiple spotted eagle rays. He then gave us a tour of English Harbour

Wir waren zweimal mit Tony tauchen und konnten es sehr genießen, dass wir beide Male nur zu zweit waren. Tony ist super auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und hat ein gutes Guiding gemacht. Zusätzlich hat er uns noch Fotos und Videos von den Tauchgängen gemailt. Das Equipment war älter aber vollkommen ok. Tony ist sehr freundlich und wie hatten eine Menge Spaß!!

Tony provides an excellent experience. We are a family of 5 and have limited experience. Tony patiently reviews all pertinent information and helps everyone get comfortable. During the dive, Tony constantly looks to ensure safety, and takes great pictures that he shares shortly afterwards via a link to a website. Never rushed through any part of our experience.

We dove with Tony in late December 2018. Like other reviews have mentioned, he's extremely knowledgeable about where you can see it all. On our dive, we saw a Hawksbill, a beautiful eagle ray, a lobster and some great coral. I'm so happy the reefs are healthy even after the hurricanes. Tony will take some great photos for you as well. Like others have mentioned, the gear is a little dated--but it was all functional and Tony's expertise shone through.
A heads up--Tony will not baby sit you when you dive. We got PADI certified last year and had 6 dives under our belt--this being our 7th. I was used to having a dive master watching my every move -- so Tony's hands off attitude was surprising. But I think in the end this makes for a great practice for diving skills!

How was his boat? Did you rent and if so what quality was the rental gear in?

small boat. gear was old and some of the hoses were cracked on the outside. However, Tony is very experienced and takes great photos--this more than made up for other issues. I felt very safe. This diving trip is probably better for more seasoned divers who can take care of themselves.
