I strongly recommend this excellent Kiteboarding School, the patient- instructors are well trained.
It is the only kite school in Varadero which is open every day. There ist always somebody to answer questions, even when its raining or no wind.
My friend and I were at the station for 5 days in November and had a wonderful time.

My 16 year old son took a 4 day course (12 hours) with Ke Bola the first week of November. This was his first kite-surfing experience (he is experienced in wake boarding and snowboarding) and can't wait to kite-surf again. We were planning to go to Cuba Kitters nearby since their rating was higher on tripadvisor, but they weren't there on the weekend we arrived and were showing up only every other day. The large Ke Bola team was there every morning and have a better location wind wise. This was low season and we had the 6 instructors nearly to ourselves: Carlos the owner with 7 years of experience, Raphael (his brother), Roberto, Alfredo (Roberto's brother), Frank and Dany. They were very patient, carefully guiding my son through all the techniques. On his third day he was able to make a run by himself and on his 4th day enjoyed it. We are planning in going back in March and I will probably give it a try myself! I recommend Ke Bola without hesitation!

You can find this place down towards the end of the peninsula, between the RIU resort and Iberostar Laguna azul.
Perfect for getting the best wind in Varadero, with other boarding schools moving to this area on good wind days. Lots of space between the resorts to provide an adequate area to learn the basics.
Cuban born instructors with good english and eagerness to teach. I think I got an extra hour or so for free.. They are pretty much around 0900-1800 7 days a week.
Good times.
