Rene was very punctual and great with everything. He promptly got us to the waterfalls and even pointed out many things along the way about the Towns and the Dominican Republic as a whole. Willy was our incredible guide and Orlando our photographer. Both of them did an amazing job! Definitely would recommend this tour to all of our friends and family.

The routes were good. The group was very cautious and proceeded too slow. Definitely not for a thrill seeker, but great for families carrying small children.

Once again we booked RV Tours for our private transport between the Puerto Plata Airport and our resort. After a long day of travel it’s just so nice to exit the airport and know that someone is there waiting to whisk you away in an air conditioned van to begin your vacation. By doing this, you avoid waiting an hour for the bus to leave the airport and stop at several resorts off loading passengers. Instead, your travelling companions are the only group in the van and it is direct to your resort. One price for your group, prearranged, prepaid via PayPal, worry free. The drivers are courteous, good drivers, and the vans are clean. I highly recommend Rene and his team for all your transport needs!

We really enjoyed this buggy tour. I didn’t know if I would as it’s out of my comfort zone but it was fun. We all had to put googles and helmets on and you could purchase for 5 dollars a scarf you very much needed to use for your mouth. The guys were fun and friendly and always made sure everyone was safe. I liked the little craft tourist place they took us to where they gave us shots of amazing tasting hot chocolate and a local drink . The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that we had to wait an hour on the bus for all the passengers to turn up. I asked the other passengers what time they were told and they said between 8-830 am . I contacted the tour company the day before and asked what time bearing in mind I told them that the ship docks at 7am and they said it’s best to get off the cruise ship as soon as you can and go to bus. So we rushed off and as it’s a bit of a walk to get there we arrived at 7.15 and last person turned up at 8.15 so I suggest get an exact time to arrive.
There was a bit of a wait around at the end of the tour which I don’t really know why, we were all sitting around waiting to get back on the bus.

We apologize for the waiting time you indicate, it is not common for it to happen in our company, but we are exposed to it happening.
The reason we ask our customers to leave the cruise as early as possible instead of a specific time is because cruises are usually brought forward or delayed to their scheduled time.
So in order not to create confusion or trouble for our clients, we choose to recommend that they leave the cruise as soon as possible regardless of whether the cruise ship is early, delayed or docked on time.
In this case, the coordination did not work as usual, but our usual intention is to provide you with the best possible service.
Once again we offer our apology!

This was my first time here. Casa De Campo is a nice resort. English is a tough language for most.
Place has things to offer but some come at a cost. Also found that the website does not have the same prices as what you pay in certain places.

Over the last seven years, we have done several tours with Rene and RV Tours. We did the City Tour of Puerto Plata, Paradise Island, the Sosua beach and others. Rene has also provided excellent airport pickup trips (including stops at supermarkets). He has become one of our most valued Dominican Republic friends. He can always be counted on to make great suggestions for outings and is always punctual. His vehicles are clean and air conditioned. Rene and his drivers always make us feel comfortable in the crazy Puerto Plata traffic. Rene's prices are reasonable and worth every penny. You can't go wrong with RV Tours.

We were on a Carnival Cruise and I like booking tours with local companies so when I saw the consistent 5 star reviews for RV Tours we chose to go with them. It was definitely the best choice. The booking was easy, the email had excellent directions about our city tour and how to locate our tour guide. After a short walk outside the cruise port gates we easily found our tour guide Alexander. What a fantastic 5 hour city tour of Puerto Plata we had. Our guide Alexander and driver Miguel were excellent. We learned so many interesting facts about the DR and Puerto Plata, had a great tour of the area, a yummy family style lunch with Alexander and Miguel at a cute local spot, and we can't forget the rum drinks!! We had a great riding tour in a van with great AC, stops at the rum distillery (free samples), cigar makers, chocolate makers (free samples) a walking tour in town and more.
What a memorable day and thank you Alexander for filling our day with information, fun and laughter. It was worth the price and more. Don't miss it!

RV tours DR made the trip easy and convenient with transportation, information about the city and drinks. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The waterfalls had a nice hike to start with some good uphills. Once at the water it was more than we imagined, stunning views, beautiful water and fun slides. The water was quite comfortable and our guide helped us navigate the slides and jumps with ease. I do recommend having a photographer with you to capture the moments. Ending with a local lunch really rounded out the experience, we really enjoyed the food.

I recommend taking this excursion over the Princess excursion because we were able to actually experience the waterfalls. The ship excursion was just to look at the waterfalls.
The drive from the cruise port was about 30 min. The driver was friendly and easy to talk to. His transportation was very clean, comfortable and quite new.
The waterfall experience was just amazing, I didn't quite know what to expect since my sister had booked the excursion but I was so grateful I got to have this experience. After the waterfalls we were given our included lunch which tasted wonderful. Then we were driven back to the ship. I would 100% do it again if I ever come back.

I am interested in the ATV tour, but I have 3 children under the age of 16. Are there any 4 person ATVs that 3 of us can ride on one and 2 on the other? We would prefer our kids not to be with any other people, unless it is the guide. Thank you

Do you allow younger children to enjoy this tour ? We are a family traveling with 3 kids 12 , 9 and 3.

We did the tour with a 4 and 7 year old.
Renee is great he has a new baby so he is a very safe driver.
Because you are doing the tour private if you are staying on a resort there is absolutely no RUSH which is great when young children are involved.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
