A definite must. Not sure why this place isn't promoted more or if I just missed it. But I'm thrilled Tripadvisor listed it. If you're driving, be cautious as the roads are a bit narrow and the locals know them well. I would highly recommend a day out plan...stop at Gran Etang on the way. I didn't want to leave the water and the beauty of the place itself is breath taking. Also there are local shop along the beach where you can get lunch and desserts.

The most beautiful beach I've ever visited. Practically deserted paradise. Very peaceful. I didn't realize this color of water actually existed in real life. No filter needed.

Sehr schöner ruhiger Strand, da es vom Hafen für die Kreuzfahrt Gäste zu weit weg ist. War aufgrund der Wellen zum Baden aber nicht geeignet

When I came to the beach on the day could not go for a swim as after rainy night the sea wasn’t calm. Though managed to get some nice fotos and had a walk on the beach.

We drove to the far north of the island to visit this beach and do the boardwalk in the mangroves. Boardwalk well marked but very short ending at the lake . The beach is stunning . Turtles come here to nest so there is security here.

Wow! So beautiful! Water color is unbelievable! Currents strong which make for interesting look from shore but would be dangerous to swim in. Islands offshore add to view. A must see when on Grenada! Leatherback turtles nest here and they are protected and watched over by a conservation group called Ocean Spirits. At certain times, beginning in April, they have guides that will take you down to beach at night to view turtles under their supervision. Bathway Beach nearby which is very pretty as well and can swim there, they have lifeguards.

Un lugar tranquilo y apacible donde perderte sólo o en compañía. Contemplar el mar y si te sobra energía puedes hacer trekking por lagos y Levera Hill. Una buena forma de rematar este día en sulfurs springs en River Sallee. Tomando un baño de barro y otro de aguas sulfurosas

Levera Beach is well known for being a breeding ground for some trans Atlantic Leatherback turtles.
There are signs at the beach relaying this message and the time of year they arrive...Early summer seems to be the peak time.
Beyond the turtles its just a nice quite beach with calmer waters than its neighboring Bathaway beach.
Its a nice spot if you want some privacy, but that comes with less facilities. The parking isn't far off from the beach, so as long as you are geared up you should be ok.
Its a courser sand and has some rockiness to it relative to other beaches on the island.
The other interesting factoid is this area is right by or right at where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic.

Levera Beach is roughly a 15-20 minute walk of 5 minute drive north of Bathway Beach. While Bathway Beach seems to be more popular, Levera Beach is prettier and a lot less busy. The afternoon I visited, there were just half a dozen kids splashing in the surf. The rest of the beach was essentially empty, except for the guard who watches sleepily from his small hut on the beach. Unlike Bathway Beach, there are no vendors at Levera Beach, so you'll need to bring your own food and drinks.
A short distance off shore are Sugar Loaf island, Green island, and Sandy island. They make a beautiful backdrop and seem to provide some shelter from the powerful Atlantic surf. I didn't go in when I was there, but the water did look calm enough to swim there.

This is one nice place to visit whenever you are in the area as it is calm and quiet.
This area has a lot of history such as the lake within walking distance and the wildlife .
