We booked a last minute half day charter and had a great time on the Blue Bi U catamaran with Randy and Sparrow! We caught barracuda, porgy, & rougheye and they filleted them up back at the dock for us to cook for dinner that night. Professional, seasoned anglers who were friendly and eager to help however they could. Found a few great spots just off the coast of St Barts and ended up with about 16 in the cooler. Great fishing day with the family. Would highly recommend Coconut Reef Charters!

Coconut Reef reached out the night before to recommend not going out on our scheduled day because of stiff winds and big swells. It was 100% the right call. They rescheduled us for the next day and the water was significantly calmer and a better day out. Captain and mate were knowledgeable and friendly and had us on a school of tuna within the first 45 minutes. Hooked a 6ft lemon shark that one of our group fought for 20 minutes or so before getting him to the surface. Crew filleted up our black fin catch and we had it that night for dinner. Outstanding.

Had a great time. Caught 4 fish. A couple barracuda. Not the best weather wise would love to book again in January for better fishing. Captain and mate were very nice.

Great introduction from the owner Craig! Got us so excited for the day! Left the dock and trolled for two hours and the captain and the fisherman didn’t talk with us at all! It was that way all day! Fishing experience was nothing but trolling and they never switched out lures or did anything to make the day at sea welcoming or fun! They hardly spoke to us the entire 5 hours!
Needless to say very disappointing!

Wow! Meet with the owner first thing and got so excited for the day of fishing! Boarded the boat and the captain and fisherman didn’t speak to us almost the entire 5hours. The day was sunny and beautiful but the fish weren’t biting…they never came back to chat or speak with us or even change any lures to change something to try and catch fish….most dissatisfied and overall unwelcoming is what we felt after a day with this adventure! Don’t waste your money on this adventure!

From the beginning it was obvious this is a well run and trustworthy business. We had some issues with connectivity to the third party booking site which was quickly resolved by a call to Sheryl and Craig the owners The first day we chose turned out to be less favourable weather but we were rebooked to another day. The fishing was good, we brought in two nice Mahi-mahi and released a couple barracuda. The Captain Randy was knowledgeable and competent and the mate Ricky was at home on the back deck and with all the tackle. The boat is a purpose built power cat that's roomy and comfortable. We look forward to another trip next year!

What an amazing experience on board with JP and Diana . Great Captains .. I can’t recommend this fishing trip enough they kept hunting all the time and my daughter caught a Yellow Fin tuna and JP taught her how to bring it in , she loved the experience. Next the son in law caught a barracuda .
We felt extremely safe and made to feel very welcome and comfortable on the boat which is perfect in all ways.
Thankyou so much Jp & Diana, memories made forever.

Amazing trip with a great crew. Tuna fishing at its best. We really enjoyed the trip. Captain and crew have been very responsive and supportive. I can recommend this trip to anybody who wants to fish in the ocean for the first time or has done it a few times already.

We had a great time with JP and Ricky. The fishing was slow but they never stopped hunting for them and kept us entertained. I would most definitely recommend them and will book again on our next trip to St. Maarten.

We had a fun trip with Capt. Randy and Guide Ricky. The fishing was a little slow trolling but we managed to hand line 1 schoolie (mahi mahi) we then went out in a mission to bottom fish and caught a good number of smaller snapper and smaller grouper.
The beers were cold the sandwich’s for lunch were great and the boat had a nice ride.
The only constructive criticism I would give is for the guides to pass off the poles I wasn’t having issues but my wife was having problems hooking up on the bottom fishing so I would pass her my pole so she could reel them In.
All in all a great day and 2 happy customers we will be back!

Thank you for choosing Coconut Reef and our thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.
Your comments are well received. We do try our best to cater to all levels of experience. Bottom fishing can be a little challenging for the less experienced angler. Feeling the bite and setting the hook is an acquired skill.
I am sorry if our crew could have done a better job, we will work on that. That said, the best way to learn is by doing...we usually try to be less hands-on so that guests will get the hang of it by trying on their own. If the guys weren't by her side offering encouragement and advice then that's an area we need to improve on!

Our current boat for the sunset cruise is a 31 foot Powerboat. She comfortably seats a maximum of 12 passengers. The boat has a blue hull with gray deck.

We will be arriving August 15th with the Oasis of the Seas, do you offer pick up from the port?, does your boat have a bathroom? and would we have enough time to get back to the Oasis of the Seas that departs at 6pm. Thank you

Hello
We do pick up from the cruise terminal and you will definately get back to your ship on time. According to the current port schedule you dock at 7:20 and depart at 6pm.
We do not have a bathroom onboard but you will have several snorkel spots and we stop at Pinel Island where there are bathrooms.

It's about a 20 minute ride by car. Our full day snorkeling tour includes the cost of return ground transportation.

We've booked through Nexus tours for this excursion tomorrow, however we didn't receive a pick up time? We're staying at the sonesta great bay in Phillips urgent, what is the usual time for pick from there for this excursion?

We pick up from different times from the resorts and the activity desk should advise you of the pick up time when you book. For online bookings and cruise ships we will contact you with the pick up time. Cruise ship pickups vary depending on ship arrival times but we will contact you with details.

Hi Sheryl, I was wondering if you are the same Sheryl with Capt Stans crew? I"m looking at booking the St Maarten Snorkel and Discover tour off viator for 2. We arrive April 18 on Celebrity Reflection and it looks like the ship is in port 930AM-6PM. IF this is your tour, do you provide pick up/drop off at Port? Also, is this enough time for the tour??

Coming in on royal Caribbean adventure of the seas may 14 and have reserved 2 tickets for the snorkel and discovery tour. Our boat docks at 8 am. I see where people have been picked up at their ports as well. Want to be sure this is correct and that we can be picked up there near our boat. Also I figure it's a good idea to call the number on my vouchers 24 hours ahead to confirm who and where we will be picked up?? Thanks!!

We found the people to be very accommodating. Just make sure you contact them and be very clear about where and when you need to be picked up and when you need to be back. Wonderful people that will go the extra mile to help.
