We purchased a dive camera from the shop on a Saturday. The following Monday, after its second use, we noticed water in the waterproof chamber and upon further inspection a couple spots of rust on the camera and the hardware holding the chamber together. We went back to the shop at our earliest convenience and the store owner immediately, quite literally, took our camera away and put a new one in our packaging. We really didn't want a new one because we were concerned the same would happen and when we stated this he said there was no other options, no refunds or exchanges or store credit and said something to the effect of "Your vacation is over and now you want to come in here and return your purchase that you used and get some free shirts in the process". The camera was the only thing we were trying to remedy. We had purchased other things and our total was twice the cost of the camera. We took pictures of the original camera at this point and the refund policy for our records. Because we took these pictures, he decided to not give us the replacement camera and took it back. He tried to send us on our way without the original camera which we had to ask to get back. He was rude the whole time and was condescending and incorrect, when we were in the shop making the purchase in the first place. The camera we were looking for, he said hasn't existed I'm 20 years which actually can't add up due to our ages but hey, we weren't looking for an argument so we bought the camera and ended up finding exactly what we had asked about on Amazon which is our bad. Go to Divers supply up the road and honestly, just save yourself the interaction with this guy.

Do not go here go up the street to divers supply.
Besides the owner being so mean and grumpy he charged us for something and did not put it in the bag luckily I noticed also we got a safety sausage that was defective and he told me to get another one I returned it I didn't want deal with him.
Very unfriendly not a good experience!

On the one hand this shop rented me a pair of fins when mine died and I was pleased with that. On the other hand when I bout a small piece of equipment which didn't fir they refused to refund my purchase despite the fact it was never used.

We’re amateurs when it comes to snorkelling, even after 20 years.
We both wanted some new fins, and had decided on short ones for ease of use.
Went to Divers World for the first time to browse their selection, we were greeted by a very friendly Jordan who listened , gave advice and showed us what he thought would best suit us.
We tried them, he showed us how to adjust them and we made our purchases leaving the store impressed with his level of professional service.
Hopefully the fins will live up to his level of service

Localizada no Seven Mile Shops, na região de Seven Mile Beach via West Bay Road, esta é uma loja especializada em artigos para mergulho.
Gostei bastante da variedade de opções e compramos várias coisas - um Mapa da Franko Maps (ótimo), placas do Kittiwake, Tubarão e Peixes, pontos de mergulho de Cayman, dois patches de mergulho e um post card.
O preço foi salgado, mas no padrão da ilha.
Recomendo a visita - eles tem muitas opções de souvenires.

Stop: DON’T shop here! The negative reviews are accurate.
Many times I think that many negative reviews may be due to not giving a place a chance to improve. We all can improve in some way but, this shop - I believe - won’t be able to change.
This was truly a HORRIBLE customers experience all due to the owner who seemed determined to berate customers who he didn’t like.
It’s clear that the staff is afraid of him and his caustic personality cuts down their genuine attempts to be helpful. I feel sorry for them.
There are many great shops on the Island and I suggest that you skip this one.

some of the reviews below state that the return policy here is for store credit rather than a refund. Not my experience. The CI$25 sunglasses I purchased broke within one day. I returned them within 48h, with the receipt and ASKED for store credit. There was a neoprene dive top I wanted which was on sale for CI$85, I offered to pay the difference if they would accept a return of the faulty product sold to me. I was rudely told no refund, no exchange, no store credit. Was told to send (at my cost) the faulty product to the US with a US$25 replacement fee to get a new pair. I've swallowed the loss of my CI$25 and did not buy the dive top. I did not and will not ever spend any more money in this shop and have recommended to my many dive customers on the island that they do not come here either. Too many times since my experience I have heard of others experiencing the same - the reviews here confirm this. Divers Supply a short distance away has a wider range, knowledgeable staff, and excellent customer service (can't recommend them highly enough and this working dive instructor will never go anywhere else). Divers World have lost a potentially good customer, someone in a position to recommend them to many others, and someone who never will.

Purchased a UV shirt at the store to take home for a gift. Tags all said mens XXl and was still in the packaging, but when we got home and took it out it was clearly mismarked. It was smaller than a mens medium shirt that we purchased at another store while visiting the Cayman Islands. I emailed the store within 2 days of returning home, with pictures of the shirt and heard nothing from them. Decided since I hadn't heard anything I would call today since it has almost been a month. Spoke with a guy that said he got my email but hadn't had time to respond. He told me there was nothing that could be done. This brand runs 2 sizes too small and they can't tell everyone who walks into the store that. Yes, we could have taken it out of the packaging but didn't feel we needed to do that. When we were inquiring about the shirt, he could have said... these run small since it was obvious it wasn't for myself or my daughter who was the one buying it. Wish I would have read the reviews and avoided this store!!

They claimed to be able to service my Suunto dive watch...They misrepresented themselves as they are not a Suunto service center.
After the watch failed and a properly trained technician inspected the watch it was found the gasket was installed incorrectly....
