‪We had enjoyed a wonderful few days is St Davids, and I had made several visits to the shop they have opened there. Couldn't resist a trip to see the mill itself.
Beautiful building, and a stunning shop! Filled with so many gorgeous things - I treated myself to a stunning jade/turquoise/brown blanket. I now have a permanent reminder of the mill, and will certainly visit this little slice of heaven when we are next down that way.‬

‪Certainly worth a visit if you're into traditional crafts. Well supplied shop with blankets, throws, etc to buy. Lots to see. And a very pretty setting.‬

‪Don't waste the fuel to go here. Visited today. No cafe open and more Importantly, no toilets open. The explanation is Covid, but at the time of visiting we are open for business in Wales. The shop was open and manned by an elderly lady who really couldn't be bothered to serve. We were the only ones there and there was no conversation to us as visitors. No information was given about the products they had or wool used. She watched us with suspicion and when I asked if she had a toilet we could use as my friend has a problem due to medication she takes, we were given short shift and told to drive back to Solva where there were public toilets.
The waterwheel although identified as something to see, was not working and clearly hadn't run for some time. Similarly the woolen mill itself was open but not working. With only one young man putting flat pack furniture together. Again no explanation, or conversation. Overall poor experience. If you want to encourage visitors be more proactive and employ younger people who want the job.‬

‪I loved it here so much last autumn, I brought a friend back this May. I love the way it is still a working mill and bought a throw and cushions to match. So lovely to be able to support a local company and have such friendly service.
I'll be back...‬

‪A working mill with original looms. However , all you can do is view the loom then go to the shop and look at the water wheel. Such a shame as we would have loved to know a little more about the history and some information about the looms. There are a couple of posters but not much else. Stayed about 20mins and didn't bother with the teashop . Shame .‬

‪What a great little find, very good watching all the mill machinery working. Then on into the shop where I was blown away by the quality of all the goods. OMG I could really do damage to the credit card in here. Did treat myself to a few things. Love Jacob Wool. ‬

‪This is the last working woollen mill in Wales. The oldest buildings that used to house the water-driven mill have been converted into the shop and cafe, with the working looms now being electrically driven in a more modern shed.

We were lucky when we were there - one of the weavers started up one of the looms specially for us so that we could see this 70-year old device in all its glory.

Prices in the shop are as expected: not cheap, but the quality of the goods are (hopefully) worth it.

The cafe was shut when we were there, so I can’t comment on it.‬

‪We popped in here whilst out walking. Friendly informative place with a good selection of cakes in the little tea shop.

The looms etc are very interesting and it’s worth watching and reading all about how the items are made.

There is a lovely out door area aswell if the sun is shining with some chairs and benches.‬

‪Visited Solva Woolen Mill on the last day of our holiday to Pembrookshire. Loved looking at the looms - a pity they were not working that day. Had a good cup of coffee and cake here. Loved the items for sale and bought quite a bit!! Nice friendly staff.‬
