Booked last minute for a couple of hours to watch sunset and enjoy drinks / picnic with friends. Victor and team went out if his way to make it an easy enjoyable experience, will defiantly use again just hope we get some more sunny days before winter. Thanks again

Would highly recommend AV boat hire. We've been several times now and have hired a boat, kayaks and paddle boards.
James the proprietor is very knowledgeable and friendly.
The stretch of river is lovely and we will certainly be coming back as often as we can.

Definitely recommend hiring a small motor boat for the day. So easy to use, friendly staff too and can't wait to come back!

Very good experience, would go again. The customer service was very good and was made to feel welcome. Highly recommend!

James was so helpful and polite. This week we hired "Baby Klip" for the second time in recent weeks. The boat is perfect for a small family, clean, easy to use. Excellent service always and stunning views.
Highly recommend! We are always telling family and friends about AV Boats in Benson - great day out.

An amazing day! Staff are so friendly and helpful, the day went smoothly with no problems - i would highly recommend this place to anyone for a fun filled day out!!

First time kayaking, staff was friendly and very helpful asked for a hour as didn’t know how we would get on and they catered for that.
Was given life jackets and showed what to do.
Turned up no booking and within 10 minutes was getting fitted for life jackets very fast service.
So friendly would definitely recommend and use again.
Thank you so much really put a smile on little man’s face

I wanted to try punting when I came to Oxford, but couldn’t find any tour I like. Then I came to Benson Lock for a drink and saw AV Boats by chance. Plenty of options: canoe, paddle boats, kayaks...Great price, too, so we took a canoe.
River Thames is amazing around Benson Lock. We had a free canoe lesson from James and had the most amazing 2h of our time in Oxfordshire. Beautiful river, good quality boat, wonderful services and safety guidance.
This became the highlight of UK trip for my son, and I would rate AV Boats at the top of all the must-do when visiting Oxford!

James was utterly amazing. We had a fabulous afternoon on the Thames and. When we got into trouble James was our hero rescued us and saved the day! Amazing. Totally our fault!!

Great time on the river at Benson with visitors from abroad. Well maintained boats and a friendly team who managed a few late changes to the booking.
