Where to start??
On the surface Enfidah airport has a lot going for it, it's large and modern, but sadly thats about it.
Once you are airside they ONLY accept euro's and ONLY by card.
They have a "duty free" area that is a joke. I can buy almost everything in my local supermarket for a fraction of the "duty free" prices.
There is only one cafe/ food outlet that charges equally ridiculously priced food and drink.
You expect to pay a premium, but the mark up is eye watering.
A bottle of water that in Sousse would cost 1Tnd (25p) maximum will set you back £3.50 approx 14 Tnd.
There is nothing else, no shops other than the "Duty free", nothing, it is possibly the most depressing place to spend time waiting for your flight.
The rest of Tunisia is amazing and well worth a visit, it's such a shame that the airport is so boring and expensive and cannot be a little more amazing as well

Be ready to stand in long queues ,Queue 1 to get your bag scanned as entering the airport ,
Check in Queue as this airport doesn't do online check-in
Airport Security Queue and along the way to the main Security area you'll be asked if you have any dinar and how much of other currencies you have, taking your shoes off ,trays are small and not enough,of them I wanted one for my laptop bag the fella just said u don't need one and just threw it on the belt,luckily it was fine, 1 food place was open but busy and overpriced, 2 where meant to open at 8 but it was about half 8,flights going to the UK had to Queue up and go through additional security, some getting random bag checked, felt like you where trapped going in this area

Buy something to eat before passing the check! The only ‘restaurant’ accessible to gates offers exorbitant Awards (10€ for coffee and chocolate bread that is not even good!!!) Scandalous to ask such Award

Staff were friendly at check in. Which is the only reason for the one star in this review.
Most expensive airport ever. A can of coke alone cost £4.70!
Can’t pay with Dinar, can only pay with card, English or euro.
Food is terribly overpriced, two sandwich’s and 2 cokes came to over £30!
Went to use the bathroom after we had eaten food and the toilets are in absolute shocking condition. They do not look as though they have been cleaned in a long time, to my absolute shock I looked down and there was a cockroach scurrying on the floor.
Staff pick and choose who they will do extra security with at the gate, which is no problem rather be safe than sorry, but to then see on arrival in Birmingham that someone was arrested off the plane with a suspicious package was not the most reassuring.
Staff didn’t update us that our flight was delayed, didn’t put it on the screen either. We wouldn’t have known unless we read it on the app.
Also don’t be fooled by duty free. Not always cheap bargain. We bought some purfume to then return home and see it’s a fair bit cheaper online :(

Wth are these prices??! I understand it's an airport, but 11 euros for 0.4 beer? I'v been all over the world, but Tunis airport is just somethi lng else. Str8 scam. Poor country wanting to earn on tourists.

Had a fab holiday, then went to the airport at 7am to find none of the currency exchange offices were open. We got pushed through security saying there was an office upstairs. So after all the security checks we ended in another security queue and the guard asked if we have any dinars. My friend and I had £50 worth each. So he took our money and gave us a receipt and when we asked where can we get the money he pointed to Duty Free. We then went through another security check and found there is no where to get your money back once through all the security.
So I stormed back through the security before the guards could stop me and went back to the guard who had taken our money. He said no I cant have it - the receipt was to be used on my next visit to Tunisia!!!!! So I told him very loudly that there was no way I would be back after this.
There was a big queue by then and I made sure I was telling everyone to not give him their money - but as we already though the passport stamp bit we couldn't go back down to the currency offices - which by the way don't open until 8am, so if you have an early flight you are stuffed!!!!
He then called over a policeman who told me I had to use the receipt on my next visit to Tunisia and it is valid for 5 years!!! OR - and get this - I could sell it to a friend who was coming over. The fact it has your passport number on it means that you actually cant!!!! Another lie. So as I was shouting the odds that I had been robbed, another policeman came over so I thought I had better cut my losses before getting arrested.
The moral of this story is DO NOT TAKE ANY MONEY BACK TO THE AIRPORT - SPEND IT!!!!

Be aware of thieving custom officer when leaving Tunisia, we went through baggage check and had our bags opened for a "look through" , the officer picked up an unopened pack of Duracell batteries and said "I confiscate " and walked off. he left the pack of opened Duracell batteries in the bag and left me standing there. i had to ask a different officer if I could go , he just said "yes" and I walked away me away.
Strange how only the new pack of unopened batteries were confiscated.

Worst airport have ever been. Dirty seating and generally unclean, toilets are disgusting, staff not friendly and found the same on arrival that wasn't very welcoming in comparison to other countries. The food hall is a complete nightmare just to get a coffee with rip off prices. Two small coffees in small paper cups for nearly £9. Didn't eat. Very much doubt will be revisiting due to overall experience.

the only place to get water costs over €5, genuinely disgusting. thankfully we ate before coming here but we still needed water since you can’t go through security with it. absolute rip off

Rude staff, airport dirty, food OK but lots 9f flies. No wifi. I have enjoyed Tunisia but airport was a disgrace. Would I come back here? I will have to think about that!!!

Yes there is and whilst cheap they were so much cheaper from beach vendors. Weirdly duty free at arrival were much cheaper than at departures which is very strange. If you are planning to get duty free get it on arrival.
