Recorrer la frontera y visitar sus plazas ver la gente que llegó de muchas partes del mundo, para hacer vida en Nuevo Laredo quizás no era su destino al principio de su peregrinaje pero por alguna razón decidieron quedarse aquí y aportar de sus costumbres y sobre todo de su cultura, gente trabajadora y emprendedora
La inmigración trae muchas cosas buenas para la ciudad es muy grato mirarlo en la calle, los negocios y la gente…. Saludos desde Cuernavaca Morelos

I took my bicycle and it was great experience. I speak very little Espanol but never had any issues communicating. The shops are unique and the people are very friendly. El Rancho is a great place to eat but lots of street food vendors as well. Go! Satisfy your curiosity and enjoy, I'm sure you will have a good time.

Mexico is safe. Don't hesitate to come to Nuevo Laredo. People are friendly and your dollar goes a long way here.

This is a nice, safe shopping and eating district directly across the border. We were immediately asked if we wanted a dentist or pharmacist, but we didn't. There are more stores than we could count. Restaurants and bars are fewer than expected but still there. As we were there during the COVID-19 pandemic, they were only serving take-out. Everyone was friendly and we felt very safe at all times.
If you are uncertain about going over the border, it is no problem. Take your passport to show upon return to the USA. You just show it as you walk by the agent. No lines or machines like at an airport. You pay $1 to leave the US and five pesos (you can pay with one quarter) to leave Mexico. When we entered Mexico we wrote down our name, age, and where we lived on a piece of paper and walked right in. During the pandemic, everyone walks through a mister tunnel of sanitizer and they take your temperature with a contactless thermometer. Very reassuring.

brought my bicycle at 55 year,stayed at holiday inn express nice place to sleep and eat before a ride.their are bike lane as well,or just street riding they have small streets and
Lot of speed bumps I like it. I where my
Protected gear I would ride around to ice cream shops to cafe’castel’s in the centro area
For good coffee.just 1 cup then
To ride next a glass blowing
Shop what invited me in to
Their work with in there good
Work they made red label

The place was hot inside with
Fire. I stayed for 5 minutes and
Then tipped the man for the show.
Road to market square at old Bridge. At the park that morning
The city workers had been hacking At a stump they asked
If I wanted to take swing at it, I said no thank you.
Walked around and went to
Shops,locked my bicycle next to
A diamond cruzer. Bought a hair
Bandanna says sweet honesty
And a noise maker walked my bicycle south town to top restaurant \ EL RANCH O / my lunch cost me 22$ + a 5$ tip stayed at holiday inn express
3 days then came back to Sanmarcos. TEXAS were I live.

2019 . This was my first Time in Mexico .I spent half a Day in Nuevo Laredo . It is very safe , i felt good . The Guerrero has many nice Shops .I bought a nice Lether Belt for a good Price .Plenty of Dentists .. It must be cheaper than in the US , i think .

It is nice, when a nice weather allow it, to walk few blocks from the International Bridge # 1, and buy nice inexpensive novelties, take a meal or a drink

Fue agradable conocer un poco Nuevo Laredo, la gente muy amigable, buen servicio, se podía caminar sin problema, nos gusto mucho y esperamos regresar pronto.

Went on a very hot late June Saturday afternoon. Expect little to no air conditioning in the shops.Bargains abound. If you walk across take an empty backpack and sturdy canvas shopping bags. Fairly safe as well. All the stories on TV about cartel gun battles, express kidnappings, and violence are perhaps bullocks. You be the judge.

Estamos pensando....queremos unos dias en Laredo/Nuevo Laredo. (Vivimos cerca de Tyler, Tx.) Hace decadas vivimos cerca de Del Rio/Acuña...y recuerdo lindísima ropa bordada...tìpicas de diferentes regiones...quiero saber si todavia es algo que llevan las tienditas allá y más o menos la variedad de precios. Hay un sitio con muestras fotográficas? Gracias
