If possible, as long you still have time, usually 24 to 48 hours (I'm sure that the cancellation time is in your fine print) before your scheduled time, you can usually cancel. Then just buy your tickets at the entrance, you will have to leave everything you are carrying at the security entrance and they will store it for you, then you pick it up when your done, on the way out. They had no maps or brochures when we visited, you just walk through all the rooms at your own pace, and there are a lot of rooms. Enjoy

Not to worry Katherine, the relics you bought are not old. They are most likely good reproductions. The old gentlemen inside Monte Alban are authorized to sell souvenirs to tourists. So set out those pottery heads and enjoy your memory of Oaxaca

Was there in December 2017 and we paid an admission. I don't remember exactly what we paid for admission. If I recall correctly, it was around $50 Pesos +/-

I would say it depends on the level of service or services you seek....High end does not always mean a better service but it almost always means better skin products etc. Any time around the Day of the Dead I would say it would be prudent to reserve everything you can from rooms to tours to services required.
