‪Skip the group tour and book Miguel!‬

‪Miguel created a day specifically for what we wanted. We were staying in Cancun, and he drove us 2 hours to Tulum and gave us a tour of the ruins. I much preferred being in a smaller tour for this because it was hot and we could find shade to discuss and answer questions rather than being in the large tour groups of 20+people. The time at the ruins was just right for my teenagers, not too lengthy but enough to get the history and details for the time period. Then we went to the Pet Cemetery Cenote which was stunning! You should get the wetsuit because the water gets chilly for the hour guided tour. Our guide took some amazing pictures and sent them to us for free, so no need to bring your camera and risk getting it wet. The entire Cenote is a huge cave- we've never seen anything like it even though we did a different cave Cenote two days prior. This one was even more spectacular! After the Cenote, we went to Akumal beach where we had a delicious lunch outside right along the beach. It was a nice way to relax and refuel! Then we met our guide for snorkling with the turtles. My daughter wanted to see turtles so this definitely checked that box. The snorkling and coral reef wasn't that impressive but we weren't going for that reason. So for us, this hourish snorkling tour was just perfect to see turtles in their own habitat. After snorkling, we changed and drove almost 2 hours back to Cancun. It was a long day and I really appreciated Miguel tailoring this to our needs. The van is very clean, has great AC, and is very comfortable for the day...even for a nap on the way home! He also told us to bring drinks and he prepared a cooler with ice so we had drinks throughout the day. This was such an enjoyable experience! We would highly recommend this to anyone because the value per person was much better than what you would pay on a group tour, and you get exactly what you want! Older people, little children, even my teenagers appreciated moving at our own pace. Nothing felt rushed and that helped create a wonderful experience! ‬

‪A wonderful, incredible trip!‬

‪Miguel is amazing! He is incredibly kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. He took my boyfriend and I on a day trip from the Hotel Zone in Cancún to Chichén Itza, two cenotes, and Valladolid. We learned so much about Mayan culture and had a wonderful time with Miguel.

He is a passionate guide with so much knowledge and experience to offer. Miguel is personable, brilliant, funny, and so trustworthy. It was our first time in Cancún and we could not be more grateful to have found Miguel to make our experience so wonderful.

Please make sure to book a tour with him! Miguel will be our go-to person from now on for sure.‬

‪It would be impossible to say enough good stuff about Miguel. To say he was an amazing guide is simply not enough. He, of course, took us to see things. However, his conversation, recommendations, flexibility, and mini adventures were what made our time with him over the top!

Let's start with communication. Before we even arrived in the country he had amazing communication and we were able to connect on WhatsApp to make sure the conversation easily continued when we arrived. Each day (we did two days with him) he made it easy to plan and arrange times and such.

How about the "guide" part? Miguel's knowledge of the Mayan people and the sites around the area were second to none. He has done continuing education with speciality classes in Mayan history. We learned so much and the fact that him and my wife took history in college made them two peas in a pod! Whether you are just looking for the basic explanations or want to dive deep into a topic, Miguel has you covered!! Also, in addition to going to the "regular stuff", Miguel also took us to some amazing cenotes that barely had anyone there and we got to explore absolutely stunning caves. He went out of his way to make sure we had photos of us going through the cenotes.

Want to take a detour to check something out? No problem! Miguel will adjust and make sure you can check out whatever catches your eye. Also, don't be surprised if you mention you like something and he comes back with a little side adventure option that relates to it. Not only were we able to find a local craft beer brewery to check out, but we had the best octopus tacos ever at a little shop we hit up for lunch one day. His local food recommendations when we weren't with him were outstanding.

If you are looking for the absolute best guide and adventures possible, do yourself a favor and book with Miguel. We travel frequently to different countries and Miguel has made our top 10 guide list for sure!‬

‪Knowledge and skilled craftsman‬

‪Miguel took my wife and our 8year old daughter on a tour from Puerto Morelos to Coba with a stop at a cenote after. Miguel was very well versed and prepared for life in the post-COVID world and we felt very comfortable and safe the entirety of our day long trip. His vehicle was clean and comfortable. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture that he shares with you during your journey. He provided lots of great information during the drive and then at the sites it was clear that he really cares about the history he’s sharing with you. After our first tour we decided we wanted to visit more sites. When your daughter is 8 and your competing against a pool, that speaks volumes of how effective Miguel is at his craft.‬

‪Amazing!‬

‪Just do it! Miguel is one in a million. He is so proud of where he is from and it shows. So knowledgeable about the area and will take you to the local areas. We felt so good about helping the local community. It was also awesome that the places that he took us to were not as crowded as the touristy places. I can not recommend Miguel enough. My kids will talk about this experience for years. We definitely plan to use him again and again! ‬

‪We found Miguel Pasos on TripAdvisor and decided to book a private tour for the five of us. Miguel was waiting for us at the arranged meeting time and greeted us warmly. He is a certified tourguide and has been doing this for twenty years. His Toyota Mini van was just three years old and very clean and comfortable. He spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan history. Our 10 hour trip took us to Chichen itza, A visit to a Ranch for lunch and a swim in a cenote. The lunch was wonderful all you can eat buffet and non alcoholic drinks. My daughter in law asked Miguel where we could buy a hammock, and he found us a place where he buys them also. Furthermore we asked if we could visit the town of Villalodid and that was no problem since that was on the way back. It is an old colonial town and we had 45 minutes to explore. What was outstanding is that Miguel was not only proud of his heritage, but an extremely knowledgeable guide. Next time in Cancun we will hire him again. Very pleased Californians.‬

‪Great Tour to Coba and Cenote‬

‪Miguel Pasos took 8 of us on a fabulous custom tour to Coba and a cenote. Miguel's knowledge of Mayan culture and local lore was impressive and fun! For instance he debunked the myth of Mayan human sacrifice. He taught us some Mayan words. He also made the whole trip fun, interesting, and uniquely suited to our needs (including lunch on the road). He answered every question we had. I highly recommend Cancun Deluxe for any tour you want. He can arrange custom tours from one to six days. He is reliable, fun, and an excellent guide and tour organizer. His prices are also more affordable than tours offered by the resorts.‬
