You don’t get to fish. The guide is the one fishing. All you do is go in circles on the boat and reel in his fish AFTER he baited, thrown, set, reeled in a bit. Then, now its your turn to reel it for a bit and he lands it for you (which i understand somewhat). All you do is start reeling halfway. Go somewhere else.

the place I found wonderful, very quiet, private, you can leave the car parked in the hotel cancun bay and you have to consume in the restaurant that is not expensive and you can enjoy the facilities, plus the waiter who attended us was always very friendly

Overall had a great trip. It was just myself and husband. So it was 4 hr instead of 6. Ok by us. Captain Julio and mate Perfecto made sure we brought in some barracuda. Fun to catch. Boat was clean. I would recommend these guys for sure!

They picked us up fromthe hotel early and we did the 6 hour shared fishing trip with my friend. We met two other guys from Finland and Sweden. It was a great time and the captain and first mate were fun and attentive. We ended up catching 14 barracuda. We had the restruant prepare one of the fish when we got back, never have eaten barracuda! It was deliciously cooked three different ways with all the fixings and super friend staff.

The Captain and fishing team gave us an AMAZING experience despite some very tough conditions for fishing. My son had a blast and we got some terrific photos, videos and memories of our catch (and the incredible views) from Cancun. Recommend to anyone looking for a great excursion while visiting the area.

I booked this trip for my 12-year old son and I. We expected to be fishing just off shore with light tackle…something he could actively participate in. Instead they took us way out for deep sea fishing, which is basically watching the crew fish. My son was really bummed, we spent 4 hours basically doing nothing. There was never even a mention of snorkeling. It was essentially a really expensive boat ride.

The charter was great! The crew worked very hard to make sure we caught plenty of fish. Took a few of them back to our hotel and had them cooked for dinner…very delicious! We originally booked a 4 hour charter, but extended it to 5 hours since we were having such a good time. The boat (Beluga) was not luxury, by any means, but it was clean and the bathroom worked, which was important on a 5 hour charter! My only complaint was there was no soap or hand sanitizer to use, but, otherwise, I would definitely recommend this to would-be deep sea fishers. Also, if you get sea sick, make sure you take Dramamine BEFORE getting on the boat.

We have just done the private Whale Shark tour from Marina Chac Chi with Sergio as our guide and Captain Miguel. Absolutely everything about the trip was fantastic - our transport (a spacious minibus) to and from the marina was spot on time picking us up at the resort and was available straight away when we returned back from the water. The "Off Duty" was a great boat - comfortable through the waves and got us to the feeding area in less than an hour. We were lucky that Sergio spotted a group of whale sharks in less than 10 minutes. In total we probably spent about an hour in the water with the Whale Sharks, so loads of time! We were also fortunate to be joined by three huge Manta Rays. Sergio was constantly pointing out where the sharks and rays were, positioning us to get the best vantage point as they swam past us. I could go on and on...suffice to say that this was the most awesome trip, thank you Marina Chac Chi!!!

I am not sure how this business stays open I would never waste my money with them, nor would I recommend them. I booked them for a family fishing trip and arrived at the location at 6:45 am as requested. When I arrived at the location it appeared to be a old marina which was falling apart and condemned. We asked around and no one really knew what happened to the charters. There was no number on the booking to contact anyone locally. After walking back and forth and checking at every marina for about 2 hours, we finally gave up and went back to my hotel. At this point now that I have reception, i have a message from them stamped at 7:12 am giving me a new address. At this point is is now 9am and I returned their call and they tell me that the boat is now gone with other passengers, but will still charge me for the trip.

¡Hola! La mejor manera es contratar un servicio de transportación para llegar directamente, parecerá una opción cara pero tendrán control de su tiempo y es más rápido.
Otra opción sería tomar un camión o camioneta de la compañía ADO en playa del carmen, este te dejará en el centro de Cancún. De ahí puedes tomar un taxi a la marina. Esta última opción deben contemplar los tiempos que demora el camión y después deberán acordar un precio con el taxi antes de tomarlo.

Hi Debbie L, we offer round trip transportation in the hotel zone for $10 usd pp, we have coffee, tea and cookies for you in the morning for free and you can get delicious and fresh box lunches for only $15 usd (ham&cheese sandwich, fruit, juice, ice coffee, granola bar, etc) i hope this works for you. we will be waiting for your reservation.
