El tour fue excelente de principio a fin. A pesar de que el mar no resultó favorable para hacer snorkel ese día, la empresa lo compensó con más tiempo libre en Isla Mujeres. Isla Contoy es un sueño y tener guías que nos cuenten su historia y sacarnos dudas acerca de la fauna del lugar, fue espectacular. Todo el equipo muy atento y servicial a las necesidades de los presentes. Para coronar la excursión estuvo increíble la fiesta en la embarcación cuando estábamos regresando a Cancún. Súper recomendable!!

First, the people, entertainment, and cruise was amazing! They were all friendly, entertaining, and made the experience better.
We did NO, ZERO snorkeling. We went on 23-03-27 and the water was very choppy and windy. Due to weather there was no snorkeling. NO ONE TOLD US THIS BEFORE GETTING ON BOARD! We were NOT sent an email or told at the dock of this change. The compensation was to swim off the boat towards Playa Norte. However, we never was able to actually spend time ON Playa Norte. Extremely disappointing.
They then took us to a buffet restaurant where the food was just okay. We had someone who ate vegan and was told this ahead of time. There was VERY LITTLE they could eat.
We then went to a different dock and was able to have about 1h 45m to shop downtown and go to the beach. Zero time to rent golf carts or hang out!
Still there was NO announcement of snorkeling being canceled.
The drinks were TERRIBLE! Extremely cheap tequila, watered down juices, and drinks. The beer was terrible also!
I would NOT do this again! I would expect my money back and an apology!

We rented a golf cart, as do many people, and went around the entire island. The scenery ranged from industrial to fairly pretty sea views. Considering this is an island, there are very few places with good beach swimming access. The Beach Club at the south end, which offered snorkeling access was outrageously priced at around $70. The main swimming beach at the north end was attractive with beautiful sand, but very crowded. Countless shops and small restaurants selling the same thing. Not worth wasting a day and a ferry trip to visit.

The weather didn’t allow us to snorkel. Very disappointing. Not blaming the operator for windy condition. But patrons should be given an option for a refund. Glorified boat ride was not what I paid for.

Excelente! La comida, la isla, visitar a los animales en SU hábitat, todoooo! Pero lo mejor sin dudas fue el staff, muy comprometidos en que los pasajeros la pasemos increible! Estaban en cada detalle! Toda la tripulación! Mención especial para Jesús (un gran gran animador) Alex y Moises que nos enseñaron muchísimo de la isla y su biodiversidad!
Volvería sin dudas! Vale cada centavo.

The trip had a lot of positives, however, it was not what I paid for. The van picked us up promptly at 8 am. The van was very clean & good condition. The drive from Riviera Maya to Cancun was fine. The light breakfast was a piece of danish, yogurt, banana and juice/ coffee. The website said bottled water which means water served Delma bottle. You should bring your own bottles. While we don’t drink alot, the drinks are watered down. When we got on board they said we were doing one snorkeling stop, lunch Playa Norte Beach & downtown Isla Mujeres. I thought maybe I misread the website because I thought there were 2 snorkeling stops. It wasn’t until I got back at night that I realized I didn’t misread it and that the site did say 2 stops but there was only one. When we got to playa Norte it was a bit suspicious because they dock In the ocean and have you jump off for a 10 minute dance party and climb back into the boat.. so you don’t really go to the beach and you don’t get your snorkel stop in. Not a bad experience just not what I paid for.

Did not snorkel 1st spot due to weather. We asked for snorkel gear at the second spot the beach and we’re told no by crew, even though they said we could snorkel at the next spot. Poor direction on itinerary from staff. Not enough time to do any one activity. Disappointed.

Highly recommend this trip! The whole staff was helpful, entertaining and safety conscious. Definitely the best part of my trip. Had a blast. The tour organizer is also very responsive to any questions. I would book this tour again!

Muito tumultuado e barulhento. O som dentro do barco era alto demais e de péssima qualidade. Bebidas de qualidade média. Cerveja estava quente. Os lugares visitados são muito bonitos, porém a parada para o almoço (estilo Bandeijao com comida horrível) é muito cheio e desorganizado. A parada ao centro da isla mujeres não dá pra fazer nada, sem contar q o ponto de encontro é uma loja de joias que nos tentar empurrar uma venda

Another question - it says hotel pickup - would that include the Occidental at Xcaret? I'm not familiar with the area so I don't know what the hotel zone is and what's included. Thank you!

Well, Xcaret is located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum and according to the webpage, transportation includes Tulum and surrounded areas so yes, Transportation must be included, of course the price must be a few bucks more expensive than Cancun's pick up service since it is far way in the south

I'm in the early planning stages for a trip next year, trying to decide when to come. If I do mid or late June will I most likely see the whale sharks, or is it better to wait until July. I know it's going to be HOT either way, but trying to find the best all around time : ) Thank you!! (have a friend who did the private boat and had an incredible experience!)

They told us that the whale shark season is 15th June to 15th September.

Your family will love this experience!
Their price is $180/person. This includes a modest breakfast and lunch, plus transportation. I paid $160/person through my Airbnb host. You may be able to negotiate. The pick up time is dependent on your hotel. I stayed in downtown Cancun the night before, so I met them at Oasis Smart hotel at 7:05am. My driver was right on time. He was wearing a white shirt with a small Caribbean Connection logo on it! He'll have a clipboard with the name on the reservation to confirm you're with the right travel company. Hope this helps.
Also, I know it looks like I'm touching the sharks in my photos, but I'm not, just really close. (We have bacteria on our hands that are harmful to the sharks.)
