Sergio was a fantastic guide!!! Witty, informative and wasnt afraid to help encourage all the guests to have fun! We have been to Cozumel many times and never have been to this side of the island, I would highly recommend it is absolutely beautiful! The only thing I wish we could have done is spend more time at each spot. Oh well, next time we will! Of course try the drinks, food and bites at each stop and the PB Tequila is a must!

This was our first time in the Caribbean, and wow… what an unforgettable experience! By chance, we saw someone recommend the Cozumel Bar Hop on Facebook, and booking this tour was one of the best decisions we made – absolutely no regrets!
Everything was super well-organized, with clear instructions on where the tour starts, and at the end, they conveniently dropped us off at the port where our Royal Caribbean ship was docked. Our guide was incredibly friendly and helpful, and funnily enough, we might have been the first Finnish guests she had ever met on the Cozumel Bar Hop—so that’s a little title we’ll proudly carry!
It was amazing to visit the other side of the island in such a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We had a blast and truly hope we won’t be the last Finns on this tour. We’ll definitely do this again when we return to Cozumel.

We booked as a private group and had Sergio as our leader. Sergio was incredible and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The jokes, the service, the vibes…. Everything was immaculate! We will be back!

This is my 2nd hop and I look forward to more to come. The staff is just AMAZING. We had a great time aigin, and if you are skeptical because it is a "bar hop" don't be because there is food and small shops and a safe way to just enjoy the other side of the island and see things you don't get to see with a ship excursion.

Thanks so much for a five-star review! The highest compliment you can pay us is to Hop with us over and over again. It sounds like that's your plan! We especially appreciate it when our guests emphasize the fact that it is not a "get drunk" tour. Many people Hop with us who don't even drink, and they still have a blast. I have been on there many of times and then I took my new girlfriend who booked it and we were only five minutes late, but they were already gone and we stayed over an hour which they usually keep someone by but it was a fiasco

My husband and I did the Bar Hop in February 2025. We left our cruise ship and walked over to the Senor Frogs where we greeted by Sergio. He was so funny and entertaining. We really had the best time and made new friends. Drinks were great and the locations were beautiful. We definitely plan to do it again!

Had a fantastic time on the bar hop. Sergio was a great tour guide. We would definitely do it again!! The westside of the island is beautiful & the bar/restaurants are super cool. A must see in Cozumel

This was the second time my husband and I toured with the Cozumel Bar Hop and we had an amazing time! We are officially FO-HOs! This is our must do excursion on the island! Our tour guide Colleen was such a lovely guide and wonderful person to chat and share stories with! She really made my birthday on the hop special and gave us fantastic memories! (HAPPY FEB 21 birthday mom!) Big shout out to our quiet and courteous driver Lalo who made sure we were taken care of and always offers a helping hand!
We had really fun folks on this hop and by the 3rd bar laughs were pouring out of everyone! No yellow bucket for this group!
For suggestions for those taking the tour:
- bring enough cash
- Pace yourselves!
- Those wild side margaritas WILL get you!
- Say hi to Chimichanga!
- Order coconut shrimp 🍤 from El Pescador!

My GF and I had a great time, the hosts were very informative and they made the 4 hour trip fun. We will do it again when we go back. The only problem we had was the pick up because we were staying at hotel Plaza in Cozumel and we had to take a taxi to get to the pick up point because they based it on ship cruises. Need to tell them you're not on a cruise if you are staying in the city.

We will be staying near Playa Del Carmen Feb 12 - 19th and wanted to take part in this. I assume the meet up place is on Cozumel so we would have to take the ferry. Do the times that the tour leaves and return coordinate with the ferry schedule?

Hello Carla we have different schedules, what you can do is enter the website and make the reservation, then we will send you the schedule with all the information, regularly the tour leaves between 9:30 am and 11:30 am make sure it is our page With the yellow truck, we will be glad to see you !!

This is probably a silly question, but are there toilets on that side of the island? Also, how big are the free drinks? Is it one 1.5oz liquor shot? What is the liquor? Do we get to pick?

Yes, each bar has free restrooms available.
The free drinks are standard 1.5-2.0oz shots. Mostly on the sweet side. A couple with tequila, I don't remember what is in the rest. You're unlikely to catch a buzz off of the free shots by themselves, especially since they're spaced almost an hour between each one.

To anyone that went recently, can you tell me the names of the places you stopped?

Took this tour in December of 2018. Unfortunately Playa Bonita (which had been my favorite spot) has started crumbling away into the ocean and is no longer safe so its not open anymore. The new stop was El Pescador, which was really nice. We did stop at Rastas
