Adriana picked us up off the ferry and it was a one minute walk to pick up the jeep. We toured the entire island with Adriana providing a lot of local history and local knowledge. Her love of Punta Sur Nature Park was evident and we had a great tour of this park and the lighthouse. I’d recommend this trip. Bring pesos as there are a few obligatory stops along the way where purchasing items and drinks (restaurant) is an option.

We did this tour with Adriana yesterday. She was a great guide: fun, informative, and kind. We learned a lot about Cozumel’s history and eco-systems and had a lot of laughs along the way!
The tequila tasting was a fun stop - who knew peanut butter tequila was a thing?!? It would have been nice to see more than one tequila “shop” since we heard from other travellers later that they got similar products for less $$. The tour is customizable, so has we gone in with this knowledge, we’d have requested this. All that to say, the tequila at Tequila Reyes was tasty!!!

Yared met us at the ferry port right on time. We had 2 teens and 3 adults, my mother in law in a wheelchair. Yared showed us some excellent places around Cozumel that were all accessible and well laid out for someone in a wheelchair. He took us snorkelling at a beach club and we saw a beautiful reef with lots of fish while my mother in law was able to relax with coffee and breakfast under a shaded restaurant roof, right there. Next we went to Punta Sur and got beautiful views from the lighthouse and then saw crocodiles in the wild! I also got a video of a coati. Lunch was great - big plates of so much food for fajitas. The last stop was tequila tasting. Never knew straight organic tequila could taste so good and the many flavours were delicious. We had to take some home. Yared was great, joking with the girls and visiting with my mother in law, making us all feel welcome. My only wish was that we had more time to enjoy every stop. Now that we know where the good places are, we can go back! My mother in law said she had the best day ever. Thank you so much!

Just want to do a shout out to Ruy and Dune Buggy Tours 🙂 We booked through Expedia. Best excursion we've ever been on. Just my husband and I in an air conditioned Jeep with Ruy as our guide/driver for 6 hours. We could have driven ourselves but we preferred to watch the scenery. As we were driving Ruy gave us a history of Cozumel. We visited the lighthouses including the ruins of the first Mayan lighthouse. We went to a place with Mangroves, crocodiles and climbed the watch tower. We could have gone snorkeling but didn't want to. Everything was at our pace and he answered any question we had and some we didn't know we had. They provided all the beverages for the whole time plus lunch at San Marten Beach. We could have went to the larger Mayan ruins which would have been $11 extra/person but decided to do some shopping instead. Booking at the resort would have been $120/person on a group tour where you have to drive yourself and you don't have private access to the guide for the entire time plus you can only go where they say and aren't able to change the trip to suit yourself.

If you are experienced snorkeler, this tours for you. If you want instruction or do not swim but want to experience some snorkeling, do not book this tour. Takes an hour to the first stop and the seas are rough over the reef. They basically drive you there then say "JUMP". Took me a while to get comfortable and after I did the reef was amazing. My traveling companions never got comfortable since they had never snorkeled. Two are very strong swimmers. The other was a non swimmer but was highly encouraged to try and almost drowned, if not for us watching him. He was told one of the guides would be with him, but was no where near. Suppose to go to four stops but left an hour late and went to three. Starfish stop was cool then a stop to swim around in shallow water. Guacamole, fresh pineapple, prepared on the boat, with cold beer, sodas and water provided and excellent. Communication was a bit skechty

Nobody showed up to pick us up at the meeting site hotel. Stopped payment. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this trip

We enjoyed the tour, no question! Only it wasn't what we expected after reading the itinerary. My mate and me were on our own, picked up by a handsome guy with a worn out compact car. We shared the love for metal music, and turned the smartphone to max volume, as there were no speakers.
First stop was a Tequila destillery, really really good stuff, not the tourist booze. Free tasting, a great variaty of delicate pure old Tequilas and Liquors.
Took a ride to the east coast, had a can of beer in the car. Next stop was Mezcalito's Last Frontier, got a shot and paid 4$ for another beer. On the way to the restaurant we had the second and last can of beer, only juice and water was left. Lunch was good.
I was curious we didn't start with snorkeling, when I asked, the driver found the time to bring us to the Skyreef Beach Club (no shot). Was good for one hour.
If I hadn't asked, the tour would have been done in 3.5h.
We visited one bar. On a bar hop tour. How is "all inclusive" defined?

My husband and I had so much fun with Maria. This tour is very customizable, we just wanted to see the island, but skip all the super touristy stuff. Maria took us to a beach club where we layed out then snorkeled and had some drinks. Then we drove around to the far side of the island and saw the beautiful coastline. Stopped at a beachside place for lunch and drinks, food was very good! We were going to go into town or shop or see the ruins, but we really just wanted to go back to our hotel and chill. You can make this what you want, it was great!

I took a private tour of Cozumel and Rosie was our driver/guide. I had the best experience! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and an all-around wonderful person! I highly recommend her to anyone taking this tour!
If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll definitely request her!

Good morning we are scheduled to take your tour Sunday July 28th we are arriving from Playa del Carmen on the Ultramar ferry into San Miguel terminal? Where do we need to go to meet up with our tour guide..we are taking the 9:00am ferry there are 4adults and need guidance as to where we need to meet. Thank you

It was just me and my husband. We didn’t have another couple. But he was too tall to drive. So that is an issue. He’s 6’5. The seats don’t move back.

I honestly cannot recall the cost, as we booked it through our cruise ship. We were not offered automatic jeeps, only the dune buggy, so again I would not know if the pricing would be different.

Hello-I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation on who to book this tour through. From reviews I saw some booked through This is Cozumel others from Cozumel Cruise Excursions but I find two websites cozumelcruiseexcursionscom and cozumelcruiseexcursionsnet (??). so not sure which would be the best to book through-would appreciate any tips on which company past reviewers booked through. Thanks so much

The cozumelcruiseexcursionsnet one was the better option of the two from what I could tell from reviews.
