‪Great place to relax, best snorkeling!‬

‪We came here specifically for the snorkel tour. It takes you to three reefs and I highly recommend it! The whole place was great though. Entry was free and there are Sandy beaches with lounge chairs. We ate at the restaurant which is outside but the tables have cabana covers. Then we swam in the pretty turquoise ocean for a while waiting on our snorkel excursion. They need at least 6 people on each boat, so if you’re a smaller group you have to wait for more people to sign up. We saw star fish, sting rays, lots of fish, and coral reef 🪸 they take pics of you snorkeling and then offer digitals to you for about $35. I took my iPhone in a water proof pelican pouch and it took amazing photos and videos also!‬

‪The best beach so far in this trip around!! The last couple of times we had been in Playa del Carmen we got the worst time with seaweed in the beach!! well last night I got in Trip Advisor page and started looking for the best beaches in Cozumel, and bingo “Palancar “ beach came as one of the options! We planned our self the day trip from Playa!easy and quick access! Get a taxi driver from the Fast Ferry port, the only do cash “20$” one way , now in Palancar yes they do credit cards… plus a cheap fee for umbrella and chairs $10 all day ! Yes all day… we definitely are coming back!!amazing‬

‪Wonderful snorkeling trip to El Cielo, Columbia and Palancar reefs‬

‪We hopped in a taxi from the neighboring Iberostar and wend on a snorkeling trip to El Cielo, Columbia and Palancar reefs with the boat from the Palancar Beach Club. No reservations. They don't leave until there are a minimum of 6 guests signed up since there is a captain, a snorkeling/safety guide, and a guide/photographer with the group. You just wait around until more guests arrive, usually 30 minutes or less. The two guides were great at pointing out marine life to us, and diving down to show us more and take fun photos of us. We saw a stingray, an eagle ray, a flounder, a group of squids, a barracuda, a turtle, and many schools of fish. There is a strong current on the reefs so this is a "drift" swim, where you mostly float in the current while looking down. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it!‬

‪Tuvimos un problema de información a nuestra llegada.. Pero nuestro mesero Maximiliano Tun López, lo resolvió de una manera maravillosa, supero nuestras respectivas, nos hizo pasar un día super y nos sorprendió con un super delicioso ceviche, sin duda volveremos a verlos, y claro lo recomendaremos para que mas personas puedan disfrutar este lugar de ensueño.. Pero principalmente compartan y convivan con su gente, Gracias Maximiliano!!!‬

‪A $15.00 taxi ride from town, this beach is free, full of families, good food and perfect water. And there is plenty of shade.‬

‪Arena blanca, agua azul turquesa, agua no profunda excelente para familias con niños pequeños. Buena comida de playa. Si llegas temprano la playa es sólo para ti. Se puede llenar de las 12pm a las 3pm. Me gustó nadar y hacer snorquel aquí. Buen ambiente con música no estridente que deja oír las olas. ‬

‪A la carte beach time in Cozumel‬

‪Ended up here by taxi after another beach area only allowed all inclusive. This beach club is clean, staff is nice, and it is a la carte- so you can do as much or add little as you want (which is what we wanted). Only issue was limited restroom/changing area (was under construction). Good option if you don’t want all inclusive bug still want a beach experience. Can rent beach chairs and get food/drinks/ beach activities. Would return for another cruise excursion.‬

‪Very nice place for lunch on the beach and a stroll along the beach and even a swim. They have restroom etc for changing after a swim.‬

‪One of our favourite beaches, but further away‬

‪We rode our bikes here from downtown San Miguel, and that was a bit of a trek for us.

I would say this is one of the best beaches on Cozumel. Not the place to go for seeing fish during snorkelling. But everything else makes up for it.

You do have to pay at least $15 USD just to use lounge chairs. It’s even more money if you get something fancier. What I don’t like is that this fee did NOT go towards food and drink consumption, which is why I give it 4/5.

The raccoons that scavenge around the outdoor deck are cute.‬

‪We rented a Jeep to go around the island of Cozumel and stopped at this club for a bit of snorkel and a light lunch. When we stopped and found out that it had a minimum amount that you have to pay we told the attendant that we were driving around the island and were not spending the entire day here he said that it was not a problem and we did not have to paid the minimum, but after we swam for a few minutes and had a light snack they presented a bill and demanded a 15% tip and they said we would have to paid the minimum if we did not accept the charge. Do not stop in this place if you are just driving around the island, there are other (no minimum) restaurants that we found to be much better. I should also mentioned that the male’s washroom were utterly filthy.‬
