A lovely waterfall with spectacular views.
We really enjoyed walking along the river and lookouts and seeing it from all different angles.
It’s very impressive!
There is even a sandy beach on the riverbank if you walk through past the lookout points there are some signs indicating the west and the sand is sooooo hot!
The walk there was lovely too - didn’t take long from the Old French bridge.
We enjoyed a nice swim in the safe part of the river afterwards.
Defo worth a visit if on Don Khon or Don Det is not too day away!

Les cascades sont impressionnantes mais le site reste mal aménagé et presque dangereux. La petite plage est très agréable à condition de faire attention au courant

Très beau site, Pas de touristes en juillet 2022 en raison du covid. Avantage : on est seul. Inconvénient : les vendeurs et les enfants s'agrippent à vous de manière quasi agressive pour gagner leur vie.

Apres une croisière sur le mekong depuis notre hotel nous avons découvert ce parc avec ses superbes chutes jolie balade. On n a pas pu résister à la tyrolienne expérience géniale. On peux le faire seul ou en double et plusieurs trajets on a choisi les 3 premiers. Nous avons un petit cours d initiation au départ. Le 2 même trajet plus long donne sur le cours des chutes c est super dommage ça passe trop vite . A faire n ayez aucune appréhension c est génial.

Très beau site, les chutes sont très belles et spectaculaires. Peu de touristes. Une belle découverte et un très bon moment.

Les photos ne rendent absolument pas justice à ce que cela donne sur place. C'est juste extraordinaire, c'est vraiment à ne pas rater. Il faut du temps pour faire le tour de ce grand parc, car à d'autres endroits, on peux en voir d'autre. L'endroit est calme (hormis le bruit des chutes). A faire.

Après la visite des chutes de Khone Phapheng, nous avons terminé notre journée par celles de Li Phi. Moins étendues que leur voisine, la forme en entonnoir de la chute principale est spectaculaire lorsque le débit d'eau est important.
Belle promenade côté sud, la vue est intéressante avec de jolis spots pour les photographes.
Une tyrolienne surplombant les chutes est à disposition pour les amateurs de sensation fortes.
Bref, un site sympa, moins apprécié que son voisin mais agréable tout de même

Magnifique, parmi les plus belles du Laos. Le parc est très beau. On y est allée en vélo et c'était parfait

A great bike ride along the bumpy road to this huge passing of the river through the rocks. To the left carry on down to a fantastic relaxed restaurant bar with huts to sit and listen to the falls before heading down to the beach and a swim in the river.

A voir quand on est dans la région. En février les chutes sont peu impressionnantes car le débit est bas mais le panorama vaut le détour !

Hi,
Has anyone travelled from Pakse to these falls? What would you recommend, hire a motorbike (how much and how long will it take me) or get a daily tour?

I would reccomend renting a motor bike for around the equivalent of $5-10 USD. In my opinion that's the only way to do it, I recently spent a full week riding a motorcycle from Pakse to Sekong, Attapu and back to Pakse visiting every waterfall along the way and staying at a new hostel every night while exploring the Bolivan plateau. There is a lot of beautiful country side out there that you wouldn't have the freedom to enjoy traveling by bus or with a tour group. However my bike did break down a couple times (flat tire, broken chain etc,) but with a few clever hand gestures, help was never far off and it was always easy to find a mechanic near by. P.S. There isn't much to see in Attapeu.
