An incredible day with Frank and the team, where we enjoyed the most incredible, home-cooked, authentic Italian spread, from bruschetta to caponata to pasta, and so much more, with their delicious extra virgin olive oil as the magic ingredient. Frank also shared all there is to know about olive oil, from the difference classes and cultivar, to how to read the labels on a bottle (and tips on signals for quality), a tour of the farm itself including the opportunity to pick olives the old and new way, and an extremely informative olive oil tasting at the end. This was all against the beautiful backdrop of their farm on a hill. Everything you could hope for in a tour and worth every penny. Amodeo lives up to the hype of all the other 5 star reviews!

I would encourage anyone in Sicily to spend a day at the olive farm. This was by far our favorite day in Sicily.
You start the afternoon with a huge homemade spread for lunch. Next, you walk through the olive trees — learning hands-on how to harvest using both traditional and modern methods. Finally, you finish by tasting different oils.
The guide loves photography, and will take incredible photos of you throughout the day!
I recommend this place to anyone who tells me they are going to Sicily, and I still order oil from them regularly (they ship to the US at very reasonable rates).
I was nervous to rent a car and drive out there, but it was no problem at all. We were staying in Palermo, and rented a car from Hertz at the airport. I would not have felt comfortable driving through Palermo city center, but by renting at the airport you avoid all the traffic. It’s an easy 90 min on the highway, and Google Maps works perfectly.

Enchanting place on a hill between vineyards and olive groves, surrounded by greenery and away from noise. Relaxation and culture with experience on local oil and gastronomy. Very characteristic place furnished with very particular taste. Professional level oil testing and buffet with local products. Panoramic veranda both day and evening with an enchanting view of the vineyards and olive grove.

Can’t say enough great things! Francesco and the ladies made us feel so special and at home. The food was incredible! Great experience learning about olive oil. The passion and love you feel from Francesco is mazing. A wonderful family farm!! A must visit to enjoy the culture and food and olive oil experience. This was a memorable and fantastic experience in Sicily!! We will never forget the hospitality that we were shown, the food that we ate nor the lessons that we learned!!
This is worth every single euro and we are so thankful we went! We have talked about this experience every day for a week since we got back and just last night, I recreated some of the dishes that they served to us!!!

We were traveling through Sicily in part to try different olive oils, and stayed at an Airbnb. We asked the owner for recommendations. The owner was Francesco, who offered to show us his olive trees the next morning. Not only did he show us "our tree" (apocryphal, of course), he took us to the local mill where he presses his olives to make Amodeo's fabulous oil. He had brought some bread from the local baker, specially crafted to go with freshly pressed oil. Thick slices drenched with newly pressed oil was heavenly. We have purchased wonderful oil from Francesco several times since then. We look forward to seeing Francesco on a future trip back to Sicily.

We have been 3 times and each time it gets better....Frank and crew are the best and there is nothing like his Olive Oil....and, oh my, do they take great care of you while you are there! I would not think of missing the farm when we go to Sicily, and so far, we haven't!

I was searching for my heritage and and experiences told by my mom. Francesco made those memories come alive. Hospitality and food was outstanding.

The food was fantastic! Frank was a tremendously gracious host. Learning about olive oil was a fun educational experience. Truly a highlight of our 2 week trip through Sicily! Highest recommendation!
