Elias and Luis are the best, go to this resort they will hook you up! This is the best resort in all of CABO SAN LUCAS

If you come to San Jose del Cabo, this is the place you must visit. This (and around this square) is where most of the shops, stalls, art walks and most actions are at San Jose del Cabo.

This resort has very nice accommodations: poos, hot tubs, activities through the day, numerous bars and restaurants. Personnel is friendly and very respectful and accommodating to guest needs.

We were staying in a nearby resort and spent a couple days coming into San Jose. Both times visiting the square and Arts District. We had heard the Arts Walk on Thursday nights was something to see. We decided to do a visit prior to the actual Arts Walk - just to see what it might be all about.
The area is full of shops with everything from cheap touristy stuff to beautiful clothing and jewelry stores and some very high end and interesting art. On Thursdays the streets are closed off to vehicles making the entire area pedestrian only. The shops spill out onto the street and the square is vendors and artists of all sorts, along with live entertainment
Definitely a sight to see if you are ever in San Jose del Cabo. Strongly recommend reservations if you plan on a Thursday night dinner.

The Thursday night art walk in the plaza is so great. It is a must if you are in Cabo. Safe, no one walking up to you to sell stuff, lots to see and great places to eat. The plaza is clean and quaint.

We always walk from our resort, The Royal Solaris, to old town, and the main square. It's an interesting walk, once you get away from the resorts and head into old town you feel like you are in Mexico. Lot's of shops, places to eat great food, and the cathedral catholic church is magnificent. Walk all around the area to get a feel for the place, I love the bright colors.

We went for Thursday night Art Walk. So much fun and so lively. Lots of restaurants to choose from. If you go on an Art Walk night, restaurant reservations are recommended!

Arts walk on Thursday is tops! Lots of artisans, strollers and live music. A great gathering place for the locals and tourists alike.

We had lunch nearby and our waiter suggested that we walk through the lovely main square of San Jose del Cabo. It was late afternoon and pretty quiet, but we stopped in a ew shoppes and galleries that were welcoming and had some different things. After the main square we kept walking on the walk along the water and met some interesting fellow travelers and locals too. We were staying in Cabo and did not get the chance to come back and see the area at night. Maybe next trip.

duing the night (after 8:00 pm) this plaza comes to life with plenty of amazing scenery that make a perfect mix between old mexico and modern mexico, very peaceful and very enjoyable it is definitely a must visit but only at night because during the day it looks (and feels) kinda meh. Overall San Jose del Cabo is great place for relaxation (unlike its twin Cabo San Lucas), also if you want to save yourself a headache don't forget to book with anticipation your transportation from san jose del cabo airport to your resort with Cape Transfers because the Taxis at the airport are an awful mess, you can easily spend 50 minutes waiting for one. Cape transfers on the other hand will have your unit ready at arrival

We plan to take a day trip from San Jose del Cabo from Cabo San Lucas. The bus from what I've read is a lot cheaper than a cab but is it worth the longer travel time? And can you purchase a ticket for the bus on the bus or must you purchase before hand?

Bus is safe and convenient. Can purchase the ticket directly from the driver. Have 20-paseo ready, though... drivers like to keep things moving! Typically run every 20-minutes along main hiway/hotel corridor. Just be sure to be at a marked bus stop and wave when you see it approaching. Also, on the way back to our hotel—we sat up front, watched our progress on Google Maps— let the driver know when you are ~200meters from your stop/hotel. Have fun!

Sorry only just seen your question. It was finished when we were there. We had breakfast in the square one morning. It is very clean with pretty trees. I hope you enjoy your stay. We stayed at the Tropicana which was very nice.

We plan to visit San Jose Del Cabo this coming week, Feb 26 - Mar 2, 2018.
Can you please tell me if they are currently having the Art Walk & if so, what evening is it?
We heard there was construction taking place in San Jose Del Cabo on the plaza, so we don’t know when or if we should go for the Art Walk.

The Art Walk is on Thursday nights. They’re hosting it even during construction as it takes place in the art galleries and businesses that surround the plaza. I recommend Ivan Guaderrama’s art gallery. Very unique and fun. Have fun!

We are going the last of Oct.and renting a car.Do we need to take pesos for gas,groceries, or can we get by with Am dollars and credit cards?

Hello there... I always get pesos there at the ATM of Banamex or BBV (Mexican banks) and the bank fees are RIDICULOUSLY low in comparison with in the US... most of the restaurants offer you a check with both pesos and US dollars total so that helps, credit cards are accepted in most of the places I've been even at OXXO (Mexican version of 7 Eleven) I haven't rent a car... I always go to San Jose de Cabo and everything is walking distance except the airport but I always take the public transit to go to it... Have fun!

Absolutely. It's the Routa del Desierto. It's opposite the Mega Mall. It will take you directly to where the Marina is and where the tours begin. It's about 30 to 45 minutes in air conditioned comfort. Cost is $ 2 us
how much would 10 days all inclusive including airfare cost?
