Gorgeous beach - dog friendly too . Lovely afternoon walking the dog -approx 20-25 mins from Inverness. Fairly quite considering the glorious weather. Stunning views too .

A beautiful beach to have a walk and relax. If you are brave enough you could try to have a swim. Wonderful experience.

This beach has amazing nature becuase you have a high chance of seeing dolphins. There are a lot of pretty shells on the beach.

Petite plage sympathique pour se balader ou s’allonger au soleil. Il y a un coin avec des attractions pour les enfants. Vous pouvez aussi faire votre jogging sur la promenade du nord de mer sur plusieurs km. Les dauphins y sont visibles surtout lorsque la marée monte donc organises bien votre visite.

Love this beach, great facilities as well such as tennis/basketball courts, hireable beach bits and bobs - everything you would need for a nice day out - also accompanied by the Rosemarie beach café and exhibition and an ice cream truck selling Authentic ice cream from Huntly - Can't stress how much I love this place

A beautiful sandy beach with plenty of room even on a hot school holiday afternoon. The water is icy cold though and everybody swimming seemed to be wearing wetsuits. I tried it but changed my mind when I got thigh deep and lay on the sand basking instead! A cafe serves drinks and cakes.

Wide, Sandy, Tons of space to roam. Do make sure to walk down to the point where the lighthouse is about 30 minutes after low tide to watch the dolphins!

The beach is lovely and not busy. Take seats and a picnic etc as it is unspoilt and not commercialised apart from an ice cream van. You might even be lucky and spot a dolphin.!

After visiting Fairy Glen Falls we went to Rosemarkie beach. Had a lovely piece of coffee and walnut cake and a cup of tea from the cafe next to the beach. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area, dogs are allowed on the beach, and we saw a few people braving a swim in the cold water.

The beach at Rosemarkie has a decent amount of sand at low tide although it turns to mud in places. Dogs are welcome to run free and there are some interesting rocks and pebbles to find... There is plenty of free parking along the sea wall. You can have a nice walk to Chanonry Point to look for dolphins.

Is there a hotel on this beach

There is no hotel in Rosemarkie. AirBnB have places but not sure about close to water.
