Good experience. Love to visit again. One can also sit besides the holy Kosi river after doing darshan. Loved the fact that there was no hush hush of the visitors.

The temple is located near the Corbett national park on the way to the Dhikhala zone and museum. From the main road there is a diversion. A board on the road gives indication. Free parking is available near the temple. Schedule your visit in the morning to avoid rush. By the time it is closer to noon the area becomes crowded. Walk from the parking and cross a bridge across the cozy river and you are at the temple. Beautiful location, go prepared to spend a few hours here.

A small n beautiful temple located in middle of a river. Divine experience. After darshan, one cn hv fun in the river. A good half day activity. Must visit

You can walk through the jungle to this temple. Even you may do this as a part of bike ride. Very peaceful place.

Went in Ist week of Oct. Not crowded due to limited tourists. There is a car parking available before the bridge on kosi. Several shops selling knick knacks and Pooja items. Please check the Pooja items bought as we got cheated with spoilt dry Coconut and Prasad items. After crossing the bridge the temple is on the right side. Steep steps to the top with only Godess statute on top.
Post Darshan we went to kosi river with kids to spend some time. People have made it dirty with used clothes, plastic, paper etc but can spend some time.

Went to this famous temple during our stay at Riverside resort...the walk form the resort to the temple is nice going from within the forest area and then on the banks of the Kosi river...the walk is not recommended for any one who is not comfortable in rough terrains...also the steps going down from the walk to the temple area is a little tough and one has to be careful...the temple is on the banks of the river and its a beautiful sight and location...the temple is on a high altitude and there are more than 100 steps which one has to climb to reach the temple...the steps to the temple are narrow and there was huge waiting line to enter the temple...overall a very nice and different experience….if one is in this area then one must visit the Garjiya Devi temple..,For people who are not keen to take the walk through the forest to the temple there is a road leading to the temple and one can park there car and then take the normal walk to the temple...

The temple is nice and small, however it has approx. 125 steps and thus would not reccomend to someone with knee issues.

yes open all days, but it get crowded if possible go on weekdays or early in the morning to have peaceful darshan. be careful with those pakora shops their food quality is not good take packed items
