No existe lugar que venda comida o agua lleva comida y bebida, se encuentra solo, para subir hay que tocar en la ultima casa para iniciar el ascenso para que el encargado los acompañe, si vas en camioneta no habrá problemas pero si vas en un carro chico hay que transitar con cuidado nosotros pegamos en el Carter y tuvimos problemas,

It's very off the beaten path and takes a while to get to, and even then, you have to hunt down the guide - but it's SO WORTH IT. The caves are privately owned by one guy, he does all the excavating work on it, and he takes you down. It's an experience - there's literally a huge hole in the ground with a tree growing out of it, and going down the center of the hole is a rickety, metal spiral staircase. Looks like something straight out of National Treasure or Indiana Jones. Once you get to the bottom, you have to go down an actual ladder through a small hole, and then you're in the cave! It's super neat, you can see where giant stairs were carved out of the rock, and the guide told us all about the different artifacts he'd found there, and last time we went, he was planning on digging through to several other caves that were behind that main one. Can't go during the rainy season, though, because it floods. Highly recommend!

La visita a las grutas fue una experiencia única de la salida de la autopista ala ciudad de Ixtlahuacán es
Un viaje corto la desviación alas grutas está entrando ala ciudad de ahí al destino final son como 5 kilómetros entre camino empredado y terraceria se tiene que manejar con cuidado el lugar está muy bien cuidado y limpio la entrada a las grutas es bajando las escaleras en forma de espiral y la entrada a la gruta con mucho cuidado una vez adentro el lugar es mágico había muchos murciélagos lo cual lo hizo más interesante
Muy bonito lugar recomendado siempre y cuando tengan mucha paciencia y cuidado

We drove up from Manzanillo to the turnoff for Ixtlahuacan and followed the signs up to the cave. It was about 80 minutes total and the road went from freeway to a good two lane blacktop to a two track cobblestone to a dirt road. All of it was well maintained and although slow it was interesting. At the top we parked, scouted around and found the metal spiral staircase that led down about 80 feet to the cave. We were greeted there by our good natured guide who collected our 250 peso fee for the 3 of us. Encouraging us to watch our heads and watch our step we entered the one large chamber. It was lit with a single white bulb which cast a shadowy light and made the stalagmites stand out. We posed for pictures and left as it was both humid and hot down there. Try it, you”ll like it

la gruta esta poco accesible, es indispensable tener auto propio, en buenas condiciones mecanicas, esta a 17 km cuesta arriba de Ixtlahuacan, cobran 180 por 4 personas, hay guias obligatorios que incluye la entrada, te sugiero llevar alimentos y bebidas, pueden ir niños y personas mayores siempre y cuando puedan subir y bajar escaleras, no apto para personas con discapacidad motriz de muy avanzada edad, dentro de la grura hay cuarzos, no se requiere equipo especial para bajar.
