What used to be a textile haven is now carpet galore. We drove down from Kuala Lumpur, took us slightly longer than a half hour as the highway was jammed. We went to Nilai in search of "baju kurung" material.

We went here to check out the place as we were having a meeting nearby.
It consist of many rows of warehouses selling carpets, textiles, curtains, some food stuff, furniture, wedding accessories etc. It is huge and has plenty of parking. The goods are very similar and prices are competitive.

Huge area. Rows and rows of wholesale shops for mostly carpet and curtains. Not many selling textile to make clothes. But, even there are, prices are not shown. So be careful. Bosses can give you a different price from their workers! This place seems like it is dying. Huge but too quiet, even on weekends. Hmmmmmmm.

Mencari doorgift or barang2 hataran.. not many choices and most of the shop only sell the same thing.. a bit dissappointed

Went there for shopping since there's a big toy shop in that area. However the place seems like a ghost town and also feels like you're in Pakistan!
The shops selling almost the same and repeated every few units. The sellers are not friendly, frankly I don't feel welcomed to shop there.
Maybe in years to come this place can get back to its glory time as it used to be.

Clearly this place is meant for people who are looking to buy things at a wholesale price - you can find lots of ready-made clothes, carpets (so many carpets, seriously), and some fabric. But bear in mind everything here is synthetic. I was disappointed after my visit, but other people might have better luck (or just don't care about synthetic fabric).
As other reviewers have said, there's no AC and it gets hot and stuffy very quickly going through the Textile Walk.

It's hot and you're walking in and out of stores like you would at some shop lots. The stores are mostly run by foreigners. I was harassed one time by some foreign guy asking about my religion. Really?! Seriously, if you do need a carpet or a rug, just go to Ikea or MUJI. Not. Worth. The. Drive.

limited product can be search here. and a lot of repetitive product. not much option for shoppers too.

This place is a mecca for all kinds of goodies to put in your house. We in particular were after curtain material so had lots of choice. We also got a few nice items at a very good price to take home. WARNING : No air con

The outlets are located in Nilai 3, industrial area. Specialise in textile products. However, most of the outlets are selling similar item. No air-cond and feel very hot at noon
