My understand yes, they are open in December and in fact it is supposed to be really pretty all decorated for the holidays. I urge you to check the website for days/times.

I don’t know for sure. It was so interesting with so much to do that we never took our phones out, but the square outside the village, the Gasoline Alley and restaurants are not set in time period. We used our phones in the parking lot so I’d assume you can connect.

There are cash machines available at the park entrance. But your better off getting some cash before you get to the park.

The park is great for children of all ages. i would suggest doing a pre visit look online at what is available and letting the children pick what they might be interested in. After that you can choose your favourite spots to visit. I always find if they choose then they feel the trip is always better. The bakery is a must and sample the goods there too. The farm house always smells good as something is always baking there and the kids can see how their bedroom might have looked back many years ago, The resevoir is fun on the boat and the park has many interessting spots to stop.
