Hello Igor, We're sorry to hear that you had an unsatisfactory visit to Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. The price of our tickets include access to all our daily programs and activities as well as tea ceremonies which were held on Thursdays and Sundays throughout our entire summer season. The plants inside the garden are native to Southern Alberta as many of the plants found in Japan would not survive in our climate. However, the garden was designed and constructed by Japanese architects and Japanese pruning techniques and design philosophies are used throughout the garden. We hope that you visit us again and encourage you to take a guided tour (free with admission) to learn more about Nikka Yuko's history and design.
