‪Amazing scenic view. Lots of green space to walk with my family. The parking lot seemed like it needed more maintenance with paper bags flying around everywhere. We made rock castles along the mayor magrath drive.‬

‪My kids were not with me on this trip so I didn’t make it to Henderson park but I believe it’s too early anyways as we stayed June 3rd normally this would be where me and my boys go for family fun I recommend this to all families if you want waterslides and beautiful walking trails stay at the Travelodge it’s a hop skip and a jump! You can walk over in your swim wear! No city in Alberta has a park this beautiful. ‬

‪Nice place for a walk or a picnic‬

‪A beautiful location in the middle of Lethbridge nestled beside the Japanese gardens. A good place to come for a picnic, a walk or to just relax.‬

‪We visited here recently…it is a beautiful park. Lots of shade and lots to see. I would highly recommend it for a stroll, a dog walk, a swim, a kayak…..anything!‬

‪Beautiful Park in the city‬

‪A lovely hike around a lovely park. We hiked around in about an hour. This is a must see to get out and enjoy the green space.‬

‪Great picnic place ‬

‪A beautiful large lake surrounded by the trees and grass. Perfect place for a large group or less to enjoy a day out. Has picnic table and space to walk and enjoy . Has clear path to walk and cycle . Today was very windy but sunny .
Has a kids play area too
Has public toilets and parking
No entrance fee‬

‪What a gorgeous little spot. Was in the area to get my COVID vaccine and we stopped in here to have a picnic lunch. Will definitely return, such a serene movie-picture sight!‬

‪We first had a difficult time finding the entrance into the Park -- but eventually, after driving around a bit we located the proper entrance -- spent a couple hours leisurely taking in the beautiful park -- laid out so you could wander through taking photos and enjoying every minute -‬

‪Peaceful and Tranquil Place‬

‪During the Summer, Henderson Lake Park is a really good time. It's detached from the downtown core so there are far less shady characters than some of the other parks in town.

I highly recommend checking this place out during Lobsterfest or any of the other major events in the Summer. ‬
