Hi Lorne, In response to your comments and concerns regarding your trip with Sunset Charters: I sincerely apologize that your guide smoked while on the charter with you. When you booked the charter you mentioned that you wanted a smoke-free boat. Despite speaking with my guide beforehand, he clearly did not adhere to our policy of offering non-smoking boats, and for that I am sorry. When the weather is bad, as it was on your trip, our guides make every effort to find fish in protected areas. Unfortunately, as we fish 100+ days in a season, there is the odd tough day. I am glad that at least you had good success catching salmon. As for the rates, when you initially contacted me quoting a price from "the website" of $600/person/day ($2400/day total), I called you to clarify. As stated on our website, our rates are $1800/day for overnight trips. You sent me $1350 as a deposit for three days of fishing (25% of $5400). The balance I asked for when I met you on the dock was the remaining 75% and GST. I hope this provides you with some clarity. Regards, David Eng
