I was visiting Vancouver and was persuaded to go to this club as it was the "best Vancouver has to offer". If this is the best, and I really hope it isn't, then Vancouver is in trouble. A bit of background on me, 30yrs old, living and working in London and I like going to bars/clubs so I know what they're like and should be like.
This club reminded me of my days at university; the music was far too loud, I had to shout my order at bar staff, the DJ would constantly be saying things through the microphone (sorry mate but I like to listen to music uninterupted?), it just looked and felt terrible.
I wondererd around the place, the majority of people in there looked early 20s so a very young scene. Some incredibly drunk girls in there, one came up to talk to me and I forwarded her to the bouncer who I thought would look after her, later I found the same girl standing outside on her own trying to get back in...classy.
At one point I was talking to the girl at the entrance when the manager or head bouncer started giving me dirty looks and said some stuff but seemed drunk.
Suffice to say, poor club, music was actually alright as was 90s hip/hop but that's all it had going for it. The club needs to define itself better. Afterwards I went to Malones, much better because you know what you're getting in there.

We always have a great experience here. It gets busy on weekends, but overall it is a very nice venue with three floors and plenty of space. Great atmosphere for dancing and having a good time.
