“‪Worth a visit!‬”

‪Great tour - we were able to explore most areas on the ship, the few roped off areas were still viewable. Information signs were plentiful and easy to understand, made our self guided tour a great experience. Be aware, lots of climbing ladders, a few tight spaces - would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues.
We went for the 79th birthday celebration, got to see the big gun fired and talked with a number of former servicemen (including one who actually served on the HMCS Haida!)
Admission cost was very reasonable - go see this one!‬

‪It is a hands on experience were you can feel part of Canadian History. The Haida is the most famous Corvette in WW2 History. I was proud to visit this ship. She is a live history to touch and feel, and experience what it was to be able to get a glimpse of life on a hunter killer with successful enemy sinkings' inWW2.‬

‪It was so much fun, kids enjoyed filling out the booklets. Kids were so amazed with all the interested in the different flags and meanings. It was nice to meet some of the retired sailors. All in all very interesting and exciting stories about the old days.‬

‪A Great Little Fighting Ship‬

‪She was too good for the Toronto waterfront but has found a welcome home happily in Hamilton. A nice reminder of the incredible job the RCN did during the war in keeping the convoy lanes open. Some folks want to forget Canada has a worthy history but you can find some here.‬

‪This is a great sit for the whole family. The tour guides are knowledgeable and humorous. We were amazed how fast the time went by and the T-shirts in the gift shop are a real deal!‬
