Tried contacting them 5 times. Never had a response of any kind. I can only assume they are no longer running tours but wished they would have said that on their website.

Our sincerest apologies. Unfortunately the pandemic hit the Niagara Region and our business and personal lives very hard. With closures and restrictions our restaurant partners were unable to participate in our tours and we did put things on hold. We are feeling we are starting all over again and that has taken longer than we had hoped.
We are in the process of getting back to doing what we do best and that is provide a quality experience and excellent Niagara hospitality. We anticipate a re-launch for June 2022 as we create new, vibrant partnerships and tours.

The whole mood of the tour was extremely relaxing and informative. The food was great and the tour very informative and adaptable. If a question was asked it was answered and if a visual could be shown as part of the answer it was provided

We are grateful for the opportunity to show you around the beautiful town of NOTL and share in your special surprise weekend! It is important to us that the tour is not only delicious but safe. The adaptations we have made showcase some amazing culinary options and allow us to practice physical distancing while still enjoying some wonderful establishments. Happy that we could bring back some travel memories with a little taste of Budapest.

Shouldn’t be called a Culinary food tour it might’ve been pre-Covid but it definitely isn’t now. The tour guide was very well and we tipped him appropriately There were six of us and we were all very disappointed Basically had a taste of beer at a microbrewery and lunch and then for $96 per person

Thank you for your feedback. It is a bit disheartening to hear we didn't meet your expectations for this tour. We have taken our responsibility of providing a safe and ethical experience in the midst of a pandemic very seriously. Yes, you are correct the tour has changed for safety reasons and we are updating our marketing to indicate this more clearly. The actual culinary experience has been elevated by the new format and we do feel there is value in the food, the guided tour and the carefully chosen culinary partners. The current tour includes a tutored beer and cheese pairing, a two course meal at a 5 star farm to table restaurant and a visit to a unique bakeshop where you will receive a full size chimney cake to take home and enjoy at your leisure. At our first two stops customers are given a Covid health questionnaire and/or a no touch temperature check. We no longer promote sampling as to minimize any unnecessary contact. We did provide a gluten free option at your request but were not made aware of seafood allergies until the group was seated and although we had asked in advance. We switched dessert stops to our gelato partner to ensure that the gluten free option could be provided. Our guide who is our co-owner made every effort to ensure your tour went well, including providing chimney cakes to go from another culinary partner because others in the group were interested.

Steve was our guide for this food tour, improvised and private (just us) due to the pandemic. Wore a mask between stops, kept physical distant.
We've been to NOTL many times, we booked this because the Shaw plays are all closed down.
Steve was great, learned some things we did not know. like the history of what is now the Balzacs coffee shop, how all the great flower beds all along the main street got started and more.
We also learned that beer and cheese do go together and what the heck is a Chimney Cake?
Highly recommended.

The tour itself was great. Our guide was friendly and informative. She had a great conversation skills and a nice personality. She definitely deserves praise.
The sad part was the food was rather lacking. While the 1st stop offered a great starter (veg in coconut soup and fresh spring roll) the 2nd really let us down, they spoke about their style and history but essentially served us a Cesar salad. While the last stop was good the lack of an actual meal in the middle made the chimney cakes less satisfying.
Again Great tour and guide, food needs improvement.

Niagara Culinary Tours es una excelente opción para recorrer el hermoso pueblito de NOTL, comer delicioso y visitar los restaurantes más representativos del área. Nuestra tour, Jannet, fue muy carismática y amable en todo momento.
Caminamos por el centro de NOTL mientras nuestra guía nos explicaba detalles históricos del área y hacíamos paradas en diferentes restaurantes. La comida estuvo deliciosa y el tour fue muy ameno, ya que es fácil hacer amistad con el resto del grupo.
Si buscas una experiencia culinaria fuera de lo ordinario y conocer detalles históricos del área, no dejes de visitar este tour.

My family had a great time on this tour. Our tour guide was helpful and knowledgeable. The stops are all walking distance from where we meet. It was a very enjoyable day had by all.

Our tour guide Janet was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to hangout with. The food was great, especially the meat pie. We’ed do it again!

We enjoy food tours so didn't think twice when visiting the Niagara area for the first time. However, I would NOT recommend this tour. NOTL is very small and even a casual day would bring you to most of the spots we stopped at. The spots were a little odd. The first was a Thai restaurant where we had tom kha gai soup. This just seems odd and out of place--most people probably have been to a Thai restaurant and there was nothing unique about this stop. Then Treadwall for pizza, Bella Vita for a lackluster sandwich and then, oddly, two sweet spots (excellent gelato and a funnel type cake). No way do these 5 stops requires nearly 3 hours. I felt like we aimlessly, slowly walked in circles to help fill the time.
Our guide, Lou, was nice enough be he spent the whole tour talking about himself. I swear I know more about him then some friends--his beekeeping, jam making, bike tours, trips to Asia, work history, his adoration for the Treadwall chef. I could go on.... It was really a tour about how awesome Lou is. Very little information on the town, other restaurants to visit, breweries, wineries, interesting history.
Save your time and money. Visit the Treadwall bakery (excellent pizza) and Il gelato di carlotta for gelato. I would also recommend the Exchange Brewery for a beer/cheese sampling and the Olde Angel Inn for fish and chips. Beyond NOTL, I'd recommend the Pie Plate and Oast Brewers (excellent $20 prix fixe dinners sunday night), Ravine winery for a delicious lunch and the Wayne Gretzky Estates for a taste of Canadian Cream. (Most of these recommendation we either discovered on our own or by asking around).

Hi Adrienne, Children are welcome but there are a few considerations. Our NOTL afternoon tours starting in April will be about a 4 km walk over a 3-3.5 hour period. Also we do not offer a children's rate as our vendors charge per person regardless or height and appetite. Starting in May, we will be offering a morning tour and it will be on a smaller scale with a more manageable walk for families. These tickets will be on sale this shortly.

Is this still open? I have emailed and left phone messages. Website says tours available in February and March but I can't get anyone to respond. Can anyone confirm if they have indeed closed up?

Our Winter Wonderland Tour in Niagara on the Lake is running and it fun, informative and delicious. We did respond to your original message but it could not be sent as your server would not accept our email. Good afternoon. Have just read the reviews and am thinking this might just be something that we should do. But I have questions. My sister and husband (Missouri) and myself and husband (South Dakota) are arriving in Kitchener on May 13. After a stay there, then over to Niagara Falls, we will be arriving in NOTL on Sunday, May 17 for two days. We are seniors.
My husband is a diabetic, still on pills-not insulin yet. I am certain you have had this situation arise before. Will he be able to find food that he can enjoy? He may have a small sip of wine. Would there be other beverages available for him?
How do we make arrangements? Can this be done on the day of the tour as I don't feel I can set something up without visiting with the other 3 in our traveling party? Thanks in advance for this information. Linda in South Dakota

Hello Linda
We do have a NOTL tour running on Sunday, May 17th at 1:30 p.m but only have 6 spots left. If all 5 members of your party are interested we may be able to run a tour on the 18th or 19th if you would like.
The NOTL tour is a 4 km walk but it is at a leisurely pace and flat. Most of the food would be suitable for a diabetic. We can check with our dessert stop to inquire about what might be available as a lower glycemic option. Water is served at most stops and wine is available to purchase. The food would be equivalent to a lunch and you will be comfortably full by the end of the tour and will know a lot more about NOTL.
We also offer an Italian food tour in Niagara Falls and it is available daily at 1:00 p.m. The walk does involve a bit of an incline (up Clifton Hill) and is about 3 km in total. If you would like us to give you a call to answer any further questions we would be happy to. Please provide your number and we will contact you later today.
