The best way to see fall colours is on the back of a horse! My family and I had so much fun enjoying a beautiful fall day on the trails of The Ranch. Jennifer Bailey was a great trail leader. She was very knowledgeable about the horses and matched us up to the right mounts. A wonderful experience overall.

Thank you so much for an amazing day on your farm! The horses were very well-mannered, but never forget that it is a large and strong animal and always listen carefully to the instructor. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the horse ride especially enjoyable. We got a lot of positive emotions and a feeling of real unity with nature.
We will definitely come back again for this magical experience.

My family and I really enjoyed our trail ride this weekend. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The horses are great, obviously very well treated by their owners. This was our second family trail ride and we plan on doing it annually. Thanks for a great day.

The guides were awesome and catered the ride to the skill levels of the riders in the group. They obviously care for their horses and matched the horse to the rider. It was a great experience

My 9 year old daughter and I did the hour trail ride on Mac and Gem. Mike was a fabulous guide and added to the experience. We felt well taken care of and appreciated his expertise. We will be booking a fall and winter excursion with the whole family.

First time on a horse. My 6'3" 15 yr old son was with me. The staff was laid back and knew their stuff. Put us at ease with jokes. Instructions were clear, safety protocols were taken, helmet wearing and all. It took a minute for them to adjust the stirrups for my son, but they did it. I wanted him to have this experience before he got too tall or heavy to ride. The horses were well matched, very well behaved, they almost didnt have to be steered. The whole experience of balance and trust on an animal that can be strong and wild if it wanted to, was worth it. Excellent ranch to try out, trails were through trees and fields, horses even trotted. A big thanks to the whole staff again. You helped make it memorable. I would recommend this Ranch for lessons, camp or trail rides.

such cute horses, they were very well behaved and cared for. would go back again, but not good for people that don’t like the smell of barn though.

As a gift for my daughter's birthday, we booked The Ranch just a day before. Lucky we got 2 spots! Hunter and another guide were good at giving us the tours. Vanessa was excellent in handling and assigning horses to the people in the group. I felt it wouldn't be fair for the staff if we get better treatment had I told them it's my daughter's birthday, so I didn't. It turned out they treat everyone in the group like kings and queens. They provided the most courteous services by offering taking pictures for all of us with no extra charges. The staff at The Ranch worked hard by taking care of the horses too. The horses are all healthy and beautiful! We are very happy and would recommend The Ranch to anyone who is considering a quality equestrian experience in the future!

Hi,
I have one more question.
For online booking it says the minimum should be for at least two people. But what if you don’t have anyone that can or wants go with you?
Is there a way or option to book for one?

That`s a great question! We do not offer single person trail rides and haven`t found a way to open up solo bookings only onto existing trail rides.
If you would like to book a ride for a solo rider please give us a call at 905-469-2989 and we`d be happy to let you know what rides we have going out!

Hi,
If the weather is bad (raining, storming, blizzard, etc.) Will you have to cancel and rebook or will you have to ride no matter what?
What are your weather cancellation policies?

Hello,
Great question! Our trail rides do go out rain or shine; however, we cannot go out if there is thunder and/or lightening.
If you would like to cancel because of inclement weather we ask that you contact us the morning of your ride. We do not charge a cancellation fee for cancellations because of rain.

Good evening, Is there an opportunity to go for a ride with a good gallop? Or is the ride the same for every rider?

You stay with your group and walk mostly there are some spots where it is safe to trot. You would never "gallop" on these trails.

How long is each ride, and how many pony rides would you say each kid had? i am looking to book a party of 13 kids.

Hi, ...we didn't have pony rides - my kids are older but while we were there (before and after we left for our 1hr trail ride) we saw other parents and kids having pony rides...Again the staff was very organized and it seemed like they were matching the kids to appropriate ponies....kids and parents seemed very happy.... I would call them - they are great and will answer everything

The trail ride is about 42$ per person & includes the safety helmet too
