Worth the visit, Many shops with different items for sale and good restaurants all around. Check out the Beaver tails at the walk up shop.

Mercato da non confondere con il Byward con cui non condivide neanche la posizione centrale. Si trova nel quartiere The Glebe, vicino al Lansdowne Park. Trovato per caso andando alla ricerca dell' Aberdeen Pavilion (vecchia sala espositiva vittoriana), che gli sorge proprio accanto e dove sembra che nei mesi invernali ospiti all'interno il mercato. Il mercato è molto allettante ma abbastanza fuori mano se si gravita in centro. Maggio 2019.

I have visited twice this month and was impressed with the number and variety of vendors. Housed for the winter in the remarkable Aberdeen Pavilion.

Farmers Markt ?!
Das geht aber viel Besser......
Das Angebot ist eher übersichtlich, Preise deutlich überzogen, Speisen und Getränke
durchschnittlich, besonders gut sind eigentlich nur die Backwaren.
Für innen und außen hab ich weniger als ne halbe Stunde gebraucht, .....für mich sehr enttäuschend.

Probably a hundred merchants on a snowy cold Sunday afternoon. Held in huge cavernous building which doesn't heat very well. Large variety of foodstuff, many offering samples. Also places where they can serve you prepared food to eat on site. Well worth a visit.

The By Ward as known by the locals offers quality farm products. The market also offers various produce shops, including fish, meat and European specialties. Everything for the table can be found.

The peaches were phenomenal. The plums had large ones on the top and then tiny ones on the bottom (rather dishonest)! The quiche with apples and blue cheese was extremely rich and needed salt (the one we really wanted was sold out). The first place to stop is at the bread kiosk as we didn't and when we were leaving the line-up was unreal. Wish we had gone first! It's pretty and has lots of variety in an open area. It rained a bit so bring an umbrella if it looks dicey as it is all outside. Park indoors close to "G".

This is located at 1000 Exhibition way and happens on Sundays from 10am-3pm. Many people are posting pictures of the Byward Market on this listing. I am posting correct pictures below.
The market is great and you can walk on Bank street from downtown. It takes about half an hour to walk. There are lots of vendors selling fruits, vegetables, baked goods, honey, soaps, and a few art/jewelry sellers. There are also lots of vendors selling unique lunch meals.

What a pleasant way to spend a sunny Sunday morning! The stalls are at the back of Landsdowne (if you are coming from Bank st), near the beautiful, yellow Aberdeen pavilion. There is a large variety of vendors, with a lot of produce and products. This is not the place to buy bulk produce (go to Parkdale for that), but it is great for specialty foods. Vendors are friendly, and there are often buskers or special events like exotic cars nearby. Bathrooms are available inside the pavilion.
