The web link didn’t work, so I googled. It appears that the space is open for events, but the museum has closed. TripAdvisor should update the listing.

Venue was a huge hall, nice place to hold a wedding reception.
However, if you're parked at the basement level and do not know how or where to transfer between 2 or 3 elevators, then you'd be lost. Moreover, the bldg layout was weird, as you get to climb a set of stairs that lead you to another level of the same hall. Washrooms are at a different floor as well, and you'd be using the stairwell...
The food was good, however, one of the waiters, an older looking European guy, was handing salmon using his hands while the rest of the crew use serving spoons. Though wearing gloves, they shouldn't be handled using your hands. Moreover, the same guy was walking around checking for pitchers to refill with water, he grasped the pitcher at the top open portion, with his thumb inside, thus leaving a thumbprint inside your glass pitcher, as evident when he returned the same to our table.
Get a different caterer instead, the hall is large but parking and walking to the hall is a chore...

While visiting Canadian friends with some friends from home, we went on daytrips to Toronto twice, using the GO Train from Aldershot Train Station in Burlington. The train goes into Union Station in a section of the Financial District in Downtown Toronto on Front Street.
In touring the district, we soon found ourselves at Toronto Dominion Gallery of Intuit Art and Brookfield Place. Nearby was the Design Exchange, called the DX locally.
Our Canadian friend leading this daytrip told the building’s history. It was the original location of the Toronto Stock Exchange. It was built in the Art Deco style. It's now Canada’s museum of design. It’s a non-profit.
Admission to the DX is FREE.
The DX contains the Permanent Collection of Canadian Industrial Design. The museum has furniture, housewares, textiles, electronics, and lighting in its archives.
I felt rushed. I would have liked more time here to explore everything at a leisurely pace.
For what I did see, I rate the DX at 4.0.

It's a tiny design museum with a tiny exhibit space. It's free, though, so that's nice. If you're in the area and have nothing else planned, it's worth a short visit. There was a nice exhibit about accessibility of stores/restaurants for the disabled. Not going to lie, the video made me cry a little.

1930's Architecture and decor very interesting. Displays of Canadian innovations, like radios, furniture was good.
The actual stock exchange room until 1982 has a good space for presentations, weddings with murals reflecting economy of Canada.

We came here expecting to see some interesting design displays. Having been to the Design Museum in Copenhagen we were looking forward to seeing something similar. There's really not a lot to see here. If you're passing by, drop in (it's free), but don't make a special trip.

Not much to it but worth seeing the inside of the old stock exchange and front freize. Nice friendly staff

We enjoyed the exhibit of furniture and devices through time very much. I was very surprised at the size, very very small. I also expected more exhibits and architecture to do with the former stock exchange but nothing of such was on display at this time.

We visited Saturday 29th July, the exhibit is very interesting for those interested in design. It is a small exhibit but there is no charge for visiting. The old trading floor on the 2nd floor is breathtaking the Art Deco design is beautiful. The young lady on reception was very welcoming and knowledgeable and really made our visit complete
