This is another tragic tale of corporate greed destroying good jobs and great products. I recently bought a Tilley Montana hat, assuming that it was made to the old standards. Sadly, it's a piece of junk. Then I read the label and saw the words MADE IN CHINA plastered on the label. What a rip off! Apparently the Tilley family sold out in more ways than one. do yourself a favor and avoid these worthless products.

Don Mills store is closed permanently. Probably because the Tilley brand has lost it’s way by buying and supplying terrible quality clothing. Gone are the good old days!

The Tilley store just off Don Mills is closed permanently now. From the service complaints I can’t see the business surviving online. Major shame for a brand that was a legend. I tried to buy a couple things recently and thy have adopted the S-M-L (no XL) hats and vests I was looking at. The sure bet that it’s all being made overseas alongside with the Amazon equivalent. Sad!

COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT.
I want to file a complaint. You take 2 weeks to make a delivery. There are no stores to do exchanges and now you steal our money and tell us that because of covid19 and your inept policies that there is only a 30 day return window.
How dare you.
The original owners of Tiley would have never stood for such behaviour.
A disgruntled customer.
Once a very loyal customer.

Their hats may be good but their customer service is a joke. 4 e-mails sent with no response and no one answers the phone when you call. Avoid this company like the plague!

Terrible customer service. Have been calling and emailing for over a month with no response. After being on hold for 45 minutes a message comes on to say they're closed, even though their hours say they are open. If you leave a message and number, they don't call back.

Purchased a pretty expensive bag from them. Lining almost immediately ripped inside....I am in the idst of an email deluge that has been delayed and bogged down for over two months, with no end as of yet. They are not offering a new bag, only a repair, and one i am being asked to pay shipping and handling fees for. Alex Tilley, I don't blame you for selling the company, but I do not think the new group gives a hoot about your car quality in the products or customer car. This will be my last purchase from them, and I have been a customer for 27 years. I am calling their customer service line as I type this....over 15 minutes on hold ..... Why would I ever want to buy from these guys again? They are slowly destroying a once pround organization.

My family has been a proud supporter of Tilley products for years. I was happy to pay top dollar for a brand that was made in Canada. I recently bought another Airflo hat for an upcoming vacation, and to my surprise, the labels reads made in China. I also noticed the material feels different than that of my previous hats. I'm disappointed to say the least, I hope the store will allow me to return it for one thats made in Canada as advertised.

Signed up with email to get 10% discount and was ready to make my first purchase on a hat that was on sale ( still over $100) and called customer service because10% discount was not applied at check out. I was told purchase has to be on regular priced merchandise which is ridiculous.

They don't honor their guarantee, their telephone service is miserable and they don't return emails or calls as promised.
