What an amazing experience! Jon was a wonderful host. And oh boy did we catch fish, you can count on Jon to be very dedicated to making sure you have an awesome time.
My niece and I caught 10+ fish over 10 pounds. He did a great job helping my less experienced niece on the trip. You don’t need to know what you’re doing. Just be ready to catch some HOGS!
Best fish of the day was 23.5 pounds.

We've done this before, but Aaron provided an especially good experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge as much or as little as customers desire. His commitment to customer satisfaction is obvious. And of course, it helped that the fish were biting! We will be repeat customers.

This was our first fishing on Lake Ontario. What a fantastic experience. We caught our limit of salmon and rainbows during two 5 hour trips. Super kudos to Aaron. A super guy and guide who keeps his boat and gear in top shape. Our outings were in the morning but next time we will book one morning and one late afternoon/night. Our fish were all filleted and bagged. Super service.

Following last year's fantastic adventure with Epic Sport Fishing, we couldn't resist returning for more in 2023. Once again, our fishing trips of June 20 and 21 were exceptional !!
Captain Aaron, with his remarkable expertise and enthusiasm, amazed us once again. His sharp eye and swift reflexes allowed us to reel in several impressive catches, including big salmons and a 12 pounds rainbow trout - Memories that still brings smiles to our faces ! "How he can do that, we still don't know, even though we are experienced fishermen with hundreds of fishing trips under our belts. His skill on the water are truly unmatched.
The boat is simply great - impeccably clean, very comfortable and fitted with top-quality fishing equipment.
Our heartfelt thanks to Aaron and Epic Sport Fishing for our memorable journey. Your unwavering dedication to providing an unparalleled fishing experience truly sets you apart. We’re eagerly looking forward to meeting again on the water next year!

Aaron is a great captain, very knowledgeable, and has all the gear one could possibly imagine. And he can find and deliver the big fish - cleans them, too!

Just a wonderful experience with a terrific guide -- knowledeable, teched-up, and a first-rate conversationalist. My two young sons loved Aaron as well. Caught a few little guys and then hooked a 25-pound salmon and later a huge -- maybe 15 pound steelhead.

Another great day of fishing with Aaron. This was our 4th time out with him and he delivered as always. I wouldn’t go out with anyone else!!

Thanks to those who wrote reviews on TripAdvisor about Epic Sport Fishing. Based on all the comments, I booked with Epic Sport Fishing and had a fantastic experience with my friends.
Me and two of my friends fished on the morning of June 25 and 26 (2022) and each day the experience was exceptional! We couldn't have had a better captain than Aaron, an exceptional captain, passionate about what he does and very fun to be around.
Each day, the first of many Chinook salmon was in the boat within 45 minutes of leaving the dock! We were impressed to see Aaron in action. No one in our group could figure out (we thought we were experienced fishermen ! ) how he could see the fish biting on one of the many rods so quickly while running the boat with a smile on his face, it seems that he has eyes in the back of his head!
The boat is very clean and comfortable and the fishing equipment is great.
We all enjoyed our two half days of fishing. It was a fantastic experience for our group and that is why we have already booked for next year!

This is an amazing day. Aaron is an awesome Captain and made my brothers 60th birthdayone of the most memorable ones of his life. My brother has MS and Aaron went out of his way to make this a fun amazing and memorable trip. Thanks you from the bottom of my heart we will ne back for sure.

My wife and I booked a trip with Epic Sportfishing on a recent trip to Toronto. Long story short, we had a blast! We could not have asked for a better captain and guide in Aaron, the owner. The boat and fishing tackle were all in exceptional condition and Aaron was focused on making sure that we had a memorable experience. We caught coho, chinook, and Atlantic salmon, along with a lake trout. Aside from the fishing which was super-fun, we really enjoyed talking with Aaron. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it felt like we were out on the lake with a friend. And, Aaron's general knowledge of Toronto was much appreciated for us out-of-towners. We would highly recommend booking a trip with Epic Sportfishing if are looking to get out on Lake Ontario!

I am planning a trip for next august with a few friends. As we are coming from the US through New York. are there any issues bringing our catch across the border when we return home?

We declared our catch at border, but were not searched. Aaron will clean and filet the fish onboard and leave skin on for fish identification, which is required to transport fish over border. Do that and you should be fine.

We are interested in taking a short trip on your boat (5-6 people) sometime in May (possibly May 24th, 2018). We have never done fishing and we are not sure how much we will enjoy but surely would like to try. What is the minimum duration you offer and what is the price including boat rental, fishing gear etc.? Can we bring alcoholic beverages on the boat?

Hi there
In the month of May I run my charters out St Catharines and return to the Toronto are in the beginning of June. I have a lot of inexperienced guests, this type of fishing is perfect for the novice angler. I will set all the lines and you and your group get to relax and enjoy the trip until we get a strike. I will make sure the fish is well hooked and then it’s up to you to reel it to the boat.
My trips are 5hrs long at a cost of $700 for up to a max of 6 people. All the gear is supplied. The only thing you are required to have is a valid Ontario fishing license.
If you choose to bring alcohol everyone must be responsible and I can’t have anyone getting intoxicated.
