Amazing place for people understand Thailand within a day. People can ride motorcycle, golf car or bicycle to travel around. Besides, you can understand more Thailand by rending the travel kit with translation function.

Мега крутое место! Самый красивый парк, который я только видела (а побывала в 22 странах). Потрясающая организация: всё покажут, расскажут, бесплатно карту, водичку и велики дадут. Огромный плюс, что на территории парка цены на еду абсолютно не завышены. Выделяйте целый день. А лучше неделю:)

It was such a lovely beautiful place however the experience was ruined at the end by a small stable with chained up elephants and elephant riding. Absolutely no reason this needed to be part of the experience and really ruined the whole thing for us, wishing we’d researched more before giving money to somewhere supporting animal abuse we never thought thered be elephants there!

This place is huge. The architecture is beautiful. It is recommended to rent a golf cart because you can’t visit the whole place on foot. However, I think the golf cart rental is too expensive. During our visit some of the monuments were under construction/renovation. Note: For international travellers, they require passport and driver’s license to be able to rent a golf cart.

Tierquälerei!
Ich fand den Park an sich bis zum Ende meiner Tour mit einem geliehenen Fahrrad (Sattel kaputt, klapprig) schön gestaltet und interessant.
Doch dann sah ich vier Elefanten mit einem Jungen, die auf schrecklichsten Weise angekettet waren, sodass sie sich nicht mal ein winziges Stück bewegen konnten. Sie trugen ausserdem bereits Sattel.
Ich habe leider die schlechten Rezensionen vorher nicht gelesen, sonst hätte ich den Park niemals besucht! Seit mehreren Jahren (!!) werden die Elefanten dort unter diesen grausamen Zuständen gehalten, misshandelt und vorgeführt. Es ist eine absolute Schande! Und offensichtlich von keinerlei Bedeutung für die Parkbesitzer.
Tempel und Philosophien darstellen, die die Einheit von Mensch, Natur und Universum hoch halten und dann so etwas. Traurig.

Beautiful constructed open air park with a lot of things to see. We spend 2,5 hours here but if you want to look at everything in detail and do the audio tour you will spend a full day. It's not intended to walk. You go in with your own car or rent a golf cart or bike to go around.
Unfortunately the park supports animal abuse. I've seen as much as 4 elephants + a younger one chained up and preped to ride tourists around. Therefore we left disappointed and will not recommend the park.

It's an amazing place to visit. So serene, full of greenery and all the replicas of ancient structures. You can either cycle around for free, or, take a cart for a small charge. I don't know why this place is not advertised much. But, I would highly recommend to visit this place. Have nice restaurants too. Spend atleast half a day to explore this wonderful place.

Having seen the elephants being tightly chained and could barely move made me in tears. The elephants are forced to stand up all day and I saw one was even was stressfully trying to remove his chain, he was shaking his head - this is the behavior of having a stress but many tourists misinterpreted that it is the happy behavior. I truly pray for them and wish the owner could at least abolish such a terrible and discusting business with animals. Imagine you are chained most of the day - 😭😭

Nice renovation and contruction still ongoing in some section, good monuments for photos, lack proper food stall, nice take cart to go around

Do they accept UK driving licence to rent a golf cart?

It’s a golf cart lol no licence needed. Do you use a license to drive one in the U.K.? Lol. Only vehicles that go over 30mph needs a driving licence in the U.K. by law. You’d be lucky if you got 10mph from this.

Hello there. My family and I are planning to see the Ancient City. The thing is we are still checking or trying to find out whether we can go inside the Ancient City with a rented van rather than using/renting a golf car. Does anyone know if it's possible or do they have a fee for this besides the admission fee?

Yes you can. I came in with our own car and driver in there. I don’t remember exactly if they charge for the car or not but the driver is free of charge.

For renting anything they ask to keep your ID. You need to judge if that is ok. If you have a National ID card and also a passport, use your National ID.
Temples and palaces have a dresscode. I have seen access denied for that reason.

To get to Mueng Boran you need to take a songtau (#36 I recall) from Kheha BTS station for about 3 to 4 kms further.
