I am an aircraft nut and have gone past just MS Flight Simulator. My wife bought me an experience for Christmas for 75 minutes on a 737 800 at Virtual Aerospace in Shoreham. The day was very professional and Richard was superb. He was very patient and we got 'flying' very quickly and the simulator is hyper realistic. I had a great time and after 2 or 3 minutes you are in the zone and flying. Excellent experience and I will go again. The cabin behind the cockpit was a nice touch.

Wow, what an experience, from start to finish! Nigel, my ‘co-pilot’ was fantastic; so kind and welcoming from the get go and I was smiling from ear to ear when I came out of the cockpit at the end. It is SO realistic and it definitely makes you want to go back for another go. You don’t realise quite how much there is to do and I loved learning it all. A MUST for an experience day!!

We booked the 90 minute flight experience at Shoreham for our 13 year old son for his birthday. It was a fabulous experience for him and we all had a wonderful time. He flew to several difficult destinations including Hong Kong. And under guidance of the instructor managed brilliantly Our flight instructor Richard was superb and was very supportive for our son, resulting in a fantastic flight experience. We would definitely recommend and will certainly be going again. Thank you to all involved including the ladies we booked with as they were also fantastic with any questions we had.

The experience was for my 14 year old stepson and can only thank the instructor for making it a special day out for him. All I will say is just wish the flying time could be a bit longer.

was great fun.....Mak was very patient and helpful.....went to various different airports - Gibraltar was fun flying around the rock....90 minutes flew by!

Had a fantastic experience, flying the 737 at Shoreham. The instructor was brilliant, very knowledgeable and put me at ease as I took the controls. We had just over an hour but if felt like longer. Great day out and one I will definitely be doing again. Recommended for all flight enthusiasts and Wannabee pilots!

An excellent experience on the flight simulator. Mak was a very good instructor and explained everything in detail. Well worth experiencing.

My sons booked this for me and it was excellent from start to finish had such a blast with the instructor who made the day one to remember with a smile.

I was lucky enough to have been bought this for my birthday, and what a treat it was! As a hardcore aviation enthusiast, I found this to be extremely enjoyable! The level of detail was fantastic, and my instructor “Richard” a delight! I would highly recommend this to anyone!

I don’t know if there is a minimum age, I was 14 when I did it. Note that it is difficult though, and I did already have experience in sims before

Go to virtual aerospace website all the info is there for you. There is also a phone number should you wish to phone, they are most helpful. It is a brilliant experience..

Can you book this direct at shoreham or do you need to do it via groupon?

You can book direct with the company who operate the simulator at Shoreham and other sites but the cost may be higher.
