Excellent services. Prices are no hassle. 25k-70k for 1-3 hour trip respectively. My 12 year old son and I went on a three hour trip. Visited two waterfalls on a private farm. I've used this outfit half a dozen times and never disappointed. Leisure or gallop is up to rider. Guide lets you know gallop zones etc.

We arrived to Salento at 3 pm on a Sunday, and we were able to book a tour with Alvaro and Gloria, despite the late hour. The horse are beautiful, you can see that they are well feeded and treated. We booked a 2 hours tour that eventually lasted more, got a discount, and more importantely had a great experience ! Alvaro is a great guide, he will take time to explain you how to ride and told us plenty of interesting facts about Colombia. Totally recommended !

Salento es un pintoresco pueblito cafetero enclavado en las montañas del departamento del Quindio. Es una maravillosa experiencia visitar sus fincas cafeteras y disfrutar de la vegetación de su entorno. Es una vía de acceso a las cimas nevadas del Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados, al noreste. En Salento, la Calle Real tiene edificios coloridos y tiendas de artesanías. El Mirador se encuentra justo al noreste de la ciudad. Hermoso lugar para visitar.

This was a nice way to explore the mountains and nature of the area . You can see the views from hostels and different view points but to ride a horse into the mountains and trails is even better. Super peaceful and exhilarating at the same time . This was my favorite part of the trip ! Diego and Christian are awesome!

Alquilar un caballo en Salento es una muy buena opción para un plan en pareja o familia. Tienes diferentes recorridos que van desde los 10 mil pesos hasta los 70 mil. Llegar a caballo hasta el río es buena opción y se pueden tomar fotos increíbles, también te dan espacio para caminar un poco y disfrutar del agua “HELADA” del río (si que es muy fría). Se debe de tener en cuenta que para los recorridos hay que pagar un guía y es un adicional como si estuvieras pagando el alquiler de otro caballo. Caballos bien cuidados, paisajes increíbles y un lugar para llenarse de energía y magia.

Nichts für unerfahrene Reiter!
Der Ausflug an sich ist wirklich schön man reitet mitten durch den Dschungel durch eine wunderschöne Natur. Auch stimmt es nicht, wie manche schreiben, dass die Pferde in schlechtem Zustand sind. Sie sind sehr gepflegt, stehen gut im Futter und hören aufs Wort. Sehr liebe Tiere. Den Pfad gibt es wohl schon ewig und er wurde extra als Pferdetrail gebaut, man muss sich also keine Sorgen um die Tiere machen.
Dennoch muss ich sagen, dass man einfach unvorbereitet aufs Pferd gesetzt wird und schon geht es los. Die Pfade sind sehr sehr schmal und gehen steil bergab durch Matsch und Geröll. Die Tiere kommen immer wieder ins rutschen. Ich hatte wirklich Angst mich nicht im Sattel halten zu können.
Also wer zum ersten mal auf einem Pferd sitzt unbedingt sein lassen!!

We had a great 2 hour ride with Omar. We have a few kids who never rode before. Very safe as Omar controlled the horses well. We rode down in a valley crossing the river several times.

Es una poblacion pequeña pero acogedora,las fachadas coloniales y coloridas,gastonomia para todos estratos sociales,compras de artesanias hermosas,visitas el mirador subiendo por mas o menos 250 escalones clima templado,suguiero provisionar jean y chaqueta en el carro,desde hay sales para el parque cocorna y deapues a finlandia.

You can ride horses accompanied by a guide from Salento or right there from Valle de Cocora; you can take short rides to the river or a few hours rides depending on how long you want to venture throughout the mountains. The farthest you can you will visit a natural hummingbird spot, beautiful.
