We ended up being just me and my friend which was good fun. Juan our guide was a natural and we chatted the whole way up to the valley and throughout the tour he was very informed and not just the valley but Salento in general, he gave us some great tips for our trip as well as the facts about the valley and the nature. The only downside is that being a tour we didn’t have the time to walk very far around the valley. I guess cause we booked the 2pm one but most people go to the valley and walk around themselves and then have the opportunity to go deeper to the jungley part and £44 if it wasn’t for juan’s great tour guiding it would of felt like a waste of money. If you’re not bothered about the information then I recommend going by yourself but if you want the information and the advice about Salento get Juan to take you round.

Pedro is a very informative, energetic, and friendly guide. He was kind enough to be patient with me while I was practicing my Spanish, accommodated extra time for exploring the town of Salento, and answered all my questions eagerly. I would highly recommend this tour to any solo travelers interested in seeing most of the major sites of Salento and understanding its history while under a time-crunch.

We had a great time with our tour guide Jorge Corcora Valley is beautiful, and the hiking was great to see the different view points. We went in the morning and it was quiet quiet which we enjoyed! The coffee tour was so fun, really great to learn about the coffee process from bean to drink and also understand the growing process for coffee and other plants such a bamboo, citrus, plantain and bananas- first time seeing pink bananas and Steven our guide was great and very passionate!

Absolutely worth the full day trip! The views from the Cocora valley are stunning and our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the local history as well as flora/fauna. The coffee tour was also super interesting and informative. This was our favorite tour we did in Columbia and would highly recommend.

This tour was super worth it, the valley is incredible and Juan Camilo was a great tour guide giving us the best insights and places to take photos! The coffee tour was also good with a great explanation of the process letting us pick, dry and roast our own coffee.

Excellent and very informative tour about the coffee making process from beginning to end. The Salento tour was amazing , Laura was very knowledgeable and gave detailed explanations about Salento and its history. The eatery’s were also a treat.

The first part is on foot in the valley cocora with spectacular views. Juan our Guide (who is excellent) gave us a lot of explanations on the site. The second part is done on horseback through several varied paths. Horses are well treated I recommend

We really enjoyed the tour. Adriana is very prepared, kind and helpful.
Santiago was also a great driver.

Laura and Juan were super nice and accompanied us all day. We were picked up by Pereira and also brought back to the accommodation. Laura also fed us stories, facts and myths about Colombia the whole time. We had lunch together - local and authentic - even if it was not included in the price, because we were hungry and asked for it. The coffee tour and the walk in the Valle de Cocora were both great and a must if you are in Colombia. So it was good value for money even if you initially think it is a lot.
