‪This island was accessible from coringa wildlife sanctuary before covid lockdown .

Boat services are suspended by AP tourism, so the Hope Island is not accessible.‬

‪COULD NOT REACH AS BOAT SERVICES ARE SUSPENDED BY AP TOURISM‬

‪Boating services are still suspended by AP Tourism.
Hence could not visit the island.
I had planned go from Coringa Wildlife sanctuary.
Some repairs are in progress and boating may start in 2020.‬

‪Hope Island Trip is'nt Anymore‬

‪We went on to visit Hope Island. Hoping as a get away. But to our dismay. Either Private nor APDSC conducting trips to Hope Island it cancelled the trips due to the mishap happened in Rajahmundry. Anyways skip hope island.‬

‪Just travel. Nothing to see‬

‪It's a forest island and no shelter. There are no facilities to relax and it's a nature made island with thorny bushes. One may like the travel by a boat but fishing harbour, from where one has to board the boat, is clumsy and foul. One should think twice before planning for the trip. Difficult for old people and small kids‬

‪Hope Island‬

‪The small island is off the coast of kakinada in Bay of Bengal makes kakinada port one of the safest natural ports.It protects the city acting as natural barrier for storm surges and possible cyclonic devastations.The APTDC operates boat ride to the island ,the fare being Rs236.It is around 40 minutes ride.Other than that there is nothing to see there.There is no maintanance. You can skip the attraction.‬

‪So close to sea!!!‬

‪We took a boat next to Cooringa forest for our boat ride to Hope Island. It was beautiful watching the mangrove on either side and approaching the vast sea in front.Very close to the Island our boat developed engine problem and it completely stopped. We were rescued by another boat and returned back. The trip ended abruptly we was not refunded our money.‬

‪I was working in the region and had a chance to visit kakinada. As usual, surroundings with trash and very dirty,
However, the people are very Pilate and hospital . If you are in the region, there are not much to see, there for ,take the opportunity to visit‬

‪Thrilling ride on the sea‬

‪This is a small island in the middle of the ocean, You have to book a boat in the Kakinada Harbour. AP tourism boats are there. It is thrilling ride on the ocean. Take your own food and water as there is nothing in the Island. You can spend some time there relaxing, playing and enjoying the nature. You don't get any food near the harbour. So get it from the town itself.‬
