Our family loved our diving with Blue Marlin Dive Senggigi in Lombok.
Our fifteen-year-old daughter had done her confined water dives in the UK and we wanted her to do the open water part out in Indonesia. We made all the arrangements via email with Maryam, who was absolutely superb in giving us all the necessary info, answering our questions and taking payment via Wise.
On the diving days, we were picked up from our hotel and driven to the dive shop in Sengiggi, where the friendly, professional team helped us get kitted out. It was a short but lovely boat trip (by traditional wooden boat) out to the dive sites and on most of the dives we had the boat to ourselves – along with the boat crew and dive master. Our dive master, Epoel, was really lovely and made our daughter – who he was teaching – feel totally relaxed and confident.
The dive sites were all great. Amazing visibility and loads of turtles and fish. Izzie also saw her first white tip reef shark.
We totally recommend Blue Marlin Senggigi in Lombok!

I had a great experience with Blue Marlin Dive Senggigi.
It started while being remote in Jakarta and the ability to arrange everything via mail. Maryam has supported me swiftly and completely, providing me with all information needed and answering all my questions. Payments up front can be done via Wise and Paypall, guaranteeing you from a spot.
On the day itself, if you stay within the pick up area, you are picked up from your hotel and brought to the dive center location. Here they help you to get the right equipement ready for your dives.
From there on, we were brought to a small harbor where we got on a boat towards Gili T to pick up the air tanks. Blue Marlin Dive has several locations, and one of them is on Gili T.
The dive sites are reviewed on the day itself based on weather, current and business. We started with Shark Point. Beautiful location where we saw a white tip shark, turles, cuttlefish, moray eels and lots of marine life. It was a light drift dive due to the light current.
After the dive, we had lunch on Gili T, where you have more then enough restaurants to pick from but I ended up at their own restaurant and had a delicious poke bowl.
After the hour break, we went to dive site nr 2 which was Bonti near Gili Meno. Lots of marine life, spotted a big octopus and a dozen turtles around one spot. Again light current so a drift dive.
During both dives, our guide Husnin indicated us where to go and where to look. He is very calm and give you quite some freedom to explore for yourself.
After the dive, we were picked up and went back to the little harbor. We were then dropped of at our hotel(s), where you could ask the guide for his information and the stamp to complete your logbook.
I had a very pleasant experience and I am happy to add Blue Marlin Dive to my network of diving centers. Can't wait to come back to Lombok to explore more! 🤩

The diving was fantastic! We did six dives over three days (trying to get our sons' dive numbers up) and they were all great. Staff were very friendly and capable. Staying on Lombok meant an hour trip each day over the Gili Trawangen, but we found the slower pace of Lombok relaxing. We didn't do much at the resort, but happy with the rooms as all we used them for was sleeping. The company was able to arrange everything.

I haven't done a review before, but had to because this experience was so good. Our instructor Epoel was great. If you are nervous at all in the water or or nervous with the exam side of things Epoel was very calm, supportive and patient. We got to do the course all by ourselves - while based at the holiday Lombok resort. This course absolutely changed our lives and has been the best thing we ever have done! The diving was stunning, and the company providing the course is highly recommended.

Amazing personal experience. We were the only people diving on the day and were so well looked after by our friendly, knowledgeable dive master Dave.
We went to Gili T and Gili Meno for some of the best diving we've ever had. Saw so much amazing sea life but the highlight had to be the turtles!! Won't forget that in a hurry!
Definitely worth it if you're staying on the main island and want to experience the Gilis.

Diving with the personnel of this diving center is a very pleasant experience. The instructors are competent, friendly, collaborative and patient. The only reason why I give the place a rating 4, is that, being a rather small center, it does not have many gadgets like t-shirts, or small pieces of equipment available on the spot. However, most spare parts may be obtained from the instructor/s upon request, in any case this is a very minor problem. I suggest that, if possible, the range of diving sites should be broadened: having dived with them for three years, I believe that I would enjoy exploring new diving areas. However, the overall impression remains very positive.

First time to do diving with Andres, Ben and Leo. Awesome people! Andres and Ben are very helpful in teaching the diving basics. Leo is also very good in assisting me and my buddy throughout our dive. Had the wonderful diving experience, i definitely recommend these people and blue marlin if you plan holiday in lombok! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Depart a 9h retour a 14h,au lieu de 8h30 a 16h,une mauvaise experience avec cette agence avec qui nous avions pris contact depuis 5 mois,

Really enjoyed diving with these guys while staying in Lombok. We saw turtles and reef sharks, so I got exactly what I came for. Professional guys! Strongly recommended!
