‪Delicious food cooked and eaten in a lovely atmosphere‬
‪Thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class, we cooked some delicious dishes, lovely atmosphere. Chris, Dewi and his team were wonderful hosts. The whole experience was fantastic from communication, pick up, cooking and tour of the garden. Thank you for the seeds you gave us from your garden, we will try and grow a little bit of Indonesian herbs in our garden at home to remember this day.‬

‪Wonderful experience!‬
‪What a wonderful afternoon, Chris and Dewi were amazing hosts. We had lots of fun creating delicious dishes, and the gardens are truly fascinating. Thank you for a great experience. Definitely a must do on your trip to Lombok.‬

‪J'ai participé à la "Cooking Class"d'AnggrekPutih, et j'ai adoré.Un excellent "pot de bienvenue" (fleur d'hibiscus et lemon grass) nous a été offert, mettant chacun dans d'excellentes dispositions. Puis rapidement chacun et chacune à l'écoute des explications de notre hôtesse "Dewi", Nous avons commencé les préparatifs, (épluchage, hachage, mortier et pilon ...), alors ont démarrés les opérations cuisson, puis la préparation et présentation des mets (naturels et locaux). Le déjeuner pris en commun avec les préparations de chacun s'est révélé un régal pour les papilles, dépassant ainsi toutes mes espérances. S'il y a un endroit ou je reviendrai pour une Cooking Class, c'est sans hésiter AnggrekPutih et sa cuisinière en chef Dewi.

‪Cooking class : une adresse à recommander sans hésitation pour ses qualités de service. Nous avons appris à composer un repas avec des produits hyper frais et de qualité. Le tout dans une atmosphère joyeuse et bienveillante. Nous avons découvert une adresse nous proposant qualité, propreté, paisibilité, sourire et gentillesse. ‪Lovely experience‬
‪We loved our experience here in Lombok.
There was a huge garden that we were shown and lots of vegetables that we could see ripening. We were shown how to cook the Indonesian way and greatly helped out by Dewi. It was a lot of fun and we produced five different dishes. It was all under cover and we sat down enjoying what we had cooked in a relaxing environment.
I would recommend this class to anyone of any age. Delicious food and a lovely setting.‬

‪Fabulous cooking class in Senggigi‬

‪We loved the simple tastes and flavours of the dishes we prepared adn then ate. They are meals that we can continue to make at home with our local ingredients. The gardens were beautifully presented and ladened with fresh produce. We thoroughly enjoyed the time spent cooking and it was a highlight of our stay in Senggigi. It's definitely worth booking if you have a few hours spare while in the area. We had an afternoon class (just 3 of us) so it felt like a private class. The booklet with recipes is emailed afterwards which was great.‬

‪ We found the cooking class from our resort Quincy villas

Amazing organic garden all ingredients fresh from the garden to our workstation, our instructor Dewi , she answered all our questions, very calm , polite.
Total in our group was two another couple total six , we cook 10 dishes from scratch, no canned food here all fresh.
All in our group we been amazed with the massive garden you must witness!!!

‪Beautiful place and garden in a local neighborhood. Dewi and Chris who run the place are lovely people. Food that we cooked was awesome and this is a great way to get to know Indonesian cuisine and little bit to the culture also. Could have not spent a nicer afternoon.‬

‪Fun and Memorable Experience‬

‪I cannot say enough good things about this cooking class and I cannot recommend authentic lombok tours enough. My boyfriend and I were staying in Lombok and simultaneously made reservations for Anggrek cooking class for Monday.

From the very beginning, communication with Chris from Authentic Lombok Tours was very informative and easy via WhatsApp. We were picked up from our hotel at 1230. It was just my boyfriend, me and another girl who joined us. And we had an amazing time from just the short car ride to their homes, a tour of their beautiful garden of herbs, veggies and fruits, and the cooking experience all together. From pick up to the end, the hospitality and the service was above and beyond. Chris was hilarious and had us laughing and made us feel right at home. Dewi was so great and patient in teaching us about the ingredients and how all the flavors mix together. We made fish in banana leaf, corn fritters, rolled pancake, Lombok curry and chicken satay. Dewi made a great point - if you have passion and love in cooking or in the experience, it will show in the taste. And our food tasted on point! Being in their home felt like home. When we got to eat our cooking, we were all laughing and was just having a great time. I did not realize how fast the time went by until it was time to go home.

They take pictures of you and email you the photos and the recipes you used for cooking. I have been wanting to do a Balinese cooking class and was sad that I didn't get a chance to do it in Ubud but now I'm glad I missed out on Ubud because it led me to do this experience in Lombok. It felt very intimate and a personable experience. We already knew we were going to have a great experience, but the experience itself exceeded our own expectations. Just amazing. Book the experience through them. They also offer other tours as well. Also thank you to Chris and Dewi for letting me have a home grown papaya. After telling Chris I like papaya, he picked one for me. The hospitality was above and beyond. Thank you so much Chris and Dewi. The experience was more than we expected and has easily became one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you for making our last week in Indonesia end on such a beautiful note. We will come back!
