No cliffs and no climbs, you don't need to use your hands. But the trail is pretty tiring if don't hike often. We walked a very bad slope downhill on the first day and I felt pain at my knee for days.

The trail is 60km in total and winds through forest, fruit farms, fynbos and vineyards, with bountiful bird and animal life completing the rural idyll. The Green Mountain Trail starts with check in on a Monday afternoon from 16h00 and check out on a Friday after lunch. As this is a working farm experience we walk on week days so that hikers get the full experience of the trail. We normally require a minimum of 6 people to run a trip. If you are less we will either try and include you with another booking or provide a tailor made trip just for you.
