A must visit when in Balanga, Bataan. A solemn place of worship. Limited parking. One of the oldest church in Bataan.

The Church has limited parking so come early for Parking space.
It is a church with beautiful choir singing during the mass.
We were seated in front of the church and I was amazed of the the church 's ceiling particulary the Dome Ceiling.

The Cathedral of St. Joseph in Balanga City is not really a grand cathedral or a very big one, but it dates back to the Spanish times and is the centre of the Diocese of Balanga. A feeling of coolness amidst the outside heat envelops as one enters. A feeling of serenity and relaxation comes to the body and spirit, as if one has come home.

A beautiful old building set in the centre of Balanga City. This is a lovely building to get photos of from the outside, lots of statues and nice architecture.
For the more religious people you can attend mass when you're there, my friend who was with me prayed several times when we visited.

Right in the middle of the city, the cathedral is a quiet place to reflect. They’re open in the mornings and people can walk in.

I love churches so this is a winner. This cathedral survived the war which makes it extra special. The carvings were specially pretty.
