Great path if you use a Electric wheelchair OM manual wheelchair great disabled toilet lots of different paths to explore accessible for all abilities especially if you are in a wheelchair Would recommend this would walk to my friends and family hundred percent

If you would like to try something a bit different on a Thursday morning, I can highly recommend the Wellbeing & Tree Walk at Thames Chase. Just a one hour walk on good quality paths, followed by a cuppa tea and biscuit. Pleasant company, a chance to make some new friends, learning some skills for relaxing and enjoying walks more, and learn some interesting face about trees. Ten out of ten.

Visited on Monday 26th April 2021. Lovely walk in a new place for me. The wood is adjacent to Cranham Golf Course and blocked in by the M25 and farmers fields. It has a lack of maturity and given its location is not very peaceful but has a nice range of trees including some managed coppice. A few routes to walk around, it appears popular with cyclists and dog walkers. A nice visitors centre which was accessible at the time to get to the cafe which was allowing outside dining. Plenty of signage giving details of the site's history. Parking was cheap at £2 but was still a coin only operation, but there is plenty of it. Some Hides and playgrounds to explore with a little pond.

Great for younger families with kids, there is plenty of interest in the various circular and criss-cross footpaths here. There are two big loops, each about a mile around, with various paths taking you out of the park area if you want to wander further. The centre is great and even in lockdown had someone selling hot drinks. Paths are prone to mud in winter but are pretty solid underfoot so it's never a total tough mudder mud-fest, more muddy puddles. Running is good with the longer loop having some up and downhill although most people are here to walk.

Very nice and informative staff, and a great little place for a walk and chill out. Paths are great condition for all users, even with wheelchairs and mobility scooters

We often look for outside areas where children can run free and explore woodland settings. Ideally with a trail and somewhere to grab a hot drink after.
Thames Chaseside fits the bill perfectly. A nice walk completing the glow trail, features for children to explore and climb over as well as a separate play area near the cafe. A great half day with more still to explore. We'll be back!

Great park in Upminster that has a trial that you can follow around the park. There’s lots of things for children to climb and play on.
Cafe is lovely and is reasonably priced :)

We love Thames Chase with its lanes for dog walking and cafe. Friendly staff, great craft fairs and a great place for teaching children about the outdoors.

Hubby and I were staying with friends nearby and we all came here for afternoon tea on my birthday. Each table had a blue gingham tablecloth on and a cake stand of scones, cakes and biscuits - all homemade. Topped up with unlimited pots of tea, there was more than enough to fill us up.
We were entertained by a gentleman on an electric piano and two lovely ladies who sang to us. Later on we were given the words to several old tunes and we all had a good old singalong. I even had Happy Birthday sung to me!. We really enjoyed the afternoon, it made a lovely change. I wish I lived nearer so I could come to more of these events.
