If you like cars, even a little bit, then it is a must! We visited this museum after we had visited the Torino museum of the automobile, and even in the constellation this was remarkable and unforgetable.
I especially loved the Carabo concept from 1968. This masterpiece of Ghandini is unique.
The very same is true for the rest. Many models from the past, I get the feeling that will buy an Alfa at least once in my life (never had such a thought before).

Un museo che va dritto al cuore degli alfisti e degli appassionati di auto in generale.
Uno dei musei di auto, a mio avviso, tra i migliori visti. Ben organizzato, con modelli iconici e sullo sfondo il rombo delle Alfa.
Una visita che vale il viaggio.

Bellissima realtà dell'hinterland milanese che merita di essere vista anche da chi non è appassionato di auto. Vetture di tutte le epoche in un bellissimo ed ampio edificio: non mancano filmati d'epoca e suggestioni di luci e suoni. A fine percorso, è emozionante vedere le vetture utilizzate delle varie forze dell'ordine. Vale sicuramente il prezzo del biglietto!

This was the last museum I visited on my holiday to Turin and Milan. Situated in Arese. I travelled by Metro to Rho Fiero Metro station but you can also travel on the overground service there as well. From Rho Fiero I caught a bus, number 561 to the museum. It's about a 20 minute journey by bus to the museum but it is well signposted. From the bus stop it's about a 10 minute walk to get inside the museum. There is plenty to see inside the museum, not just cars but also aircraft engines, a plane and a speedboat. The restaurant/cafe was excellent with a wide choice of food. There is also a shop selling books, clothing, models and other souvenirs.

I rate this as one of Europe's top car museums. The number, quality and variety of vehicles on display is very pleasing.
The emphasis through out is on alfa's achievement in motor sport. While motor racing is not my prime interest, I spent 3 interest packed hours in the museum.
Alfa romeo cars from the earliest to the latest are displayed, all in beautiful condition. There are even aero engines on show.
Now for some criticism. Once you are inside there is nothing displayed about how to get out or to back track. There is also a dearth of technical information, historical background etc for the serious enthusiast.
There is a coffee shop/snack bar? /restaurant and a small gift shop to exit by.
My biggest criticism is the misleading instructions on how to get there from Milan by public transport.
It is easy enough to go by metro to RHO Ferrovia but just try to find the bus stop for the 561 when you get there. I gave up and caught a €25 cab ride. And when you want to leave try finding the bus stop. When I enquired of the staff they barely knew of the existence of a bus stop.
I walked for miles and found a bus stop at a shopping mall and was soon back at RHO.
Anyway it's a great museum.

All the models you admire and lust for. From
Oldest to newest. You can be there for hours, very good presentation, would love just a little bit of information about each one of the vehicles.
The one thing that I missed the most(apart from Porsche museum) is option to at least sit in the new models, like Giulia and Stelvio. That I would really love.
Otherwise if you are a fan of Italian design and cars, and Alfa, it is a dream.

Have visited several car/transport museums in the UK, this one is pristine in comparison. If you are interested in these cars (or accompanying someone who is) you can't fail to be impressed by the displays.

Très beau musée, toute l'histoire de la marque Alfa Roméo y est retracé. Depuis les moteurs d'avions jusqu'au voiture les plus modernes. En passant également par les prototypes des grands carrossiers italien,les véhicules de compétition et bien sûr les modèles emblématique de la marque. Bref un superbe musée.

We would like to have lunch at the museum when we visit (probably on a Saturday). Is food served only at certain times and snacks during the remaining museum hours? Is a menu available? Can one leave the exhibits, eat, and return to them? Is there a discount for Alfa Romeo owners? Thanks.

The restaurant, with a daily menu, is open from 12.30 to 2.30 pm, but you can find sandwiches and snacks during the remaining hours. If you leave the museum and you want to come back after lunch you have to ask the staff, because the ticket cannot be stamped twice

Hola. Alguien que haya ido en transporte publico usando la linea 561 que llega al museo, ¿que billete hay que sacar? se supone que en las maquinas de la estación de Rho-Fiera se venden, pero no he visto en ningún sitio que billete hay que sacar.

Nosotros fuimos en taxi, porque nos levantamos tarde.
Pero hay un bus que sale de la estación de tren de Milano que deja en un shopping a 5 minutos caminando desde el Museo.
Tarda 40 minutos.
